you "talk about the things you think are important." Yep. Said it clear as day in an interview with Flox. He went on to explain that we were supposed to understand he was talking about them when he referred to the "military" (as in the Military Industrial Complex). Oh, OK. Silly us. Well then, mister candidate, what did you say about the military? Did you speak of the ultimate sacrifice made by the fallen, sympathize with grieving families, or address rehab, medical care, jobs, housing and education for the injured returning vets?
Let's see. There were exactly two "military" sentences in the acceptance speech.
"His (Obama's) trillion dollar cuts to our military will eliminate hundereds of thousands of jobs, and also put our security at risk." Would that be soldier duty assignments, mister candidate, or jobs lost at the Pentagon and down the private contractor's pike? We understand that specifics aren't your strong suit, but could you please elaborate?
"That America, that united American, will preserve a military that is so strong, no nation would ever DARE to test it." Could this be the bluster and blunder the President was talking about? I wonder.
IMO, this is exactly what VP Joe Biden was talking about when he said the Rominator could not see the peeps behind the GM salvage story, but he could see the crisis "the Bain way." Bad investment. Too risky. Bottom line dictates let them go bankrupt.
OK. Can anyone suggest an effective crash course he could take between now and the debates to teach him the difference between human troops and military system spreadsheets? Anyone?
