I need the energy and power of prayer! The taliban attacked the base where my son is currently stationed.
I've seen what positive thoughts and prayer can do before and I ask for strength for the people serving at this base and their families. I'm sure there are many men and women there who are terrified at this moment. We have to send them our support!
If you have a myspace or a facebook or any social network thing, please POST A MESSAGE OF PRAYER AND SUPPORT! Let every man and woman serving our country feel loved and thanked.

[ In Reply To ..]It is so scary when they cut off communications with the bases. Every time something bad happened when my husband was over there, they would cut off communications until families were notified and I would be terrified. I just said a prayer for them all.

[ In Reply To ..]I will say a prayer for you and your son and his base. My son is a Marine LCpl. He's an ammo tech and has been stationed in Japan for a year. I will keep you in my thoughts. Just a side note, if you are on facebook, there is a woman named Dianne who runs Support Our Marines, Inc. She has a facebook page in that name and she is wonderful. You let her know what base he is at and she will get the word out and your prayer chain will span the nation. God Bless our Service men and women.

[ In Reply To ..]Keep up your prayers and your spirits, and do keep in close touch with him. My USMC was both in Afghanastan and Iraq...now safely in Japan (Okinawa) with his wife and little girl. He has one more year to serve, and then he's out. He was in for a career. He loves the Corps, and he is proud to serve. So Mom, pull yourself up and be proud, send him goodie packages, and let him know how much you love him! God Bless you both.
