No problem, but Romney is going have a much tougher time trying to build a campaign around repealing a law modeled after his own state mandate. Playing with semantics isn't going to erase history.

Every projection I see has Obama and Romney almost tied, so it looks like it's going to be a very close race.

I'm sure the SCOTUS won't have any trouble in installing Romney into the Presidency, regardless of whether he actually wins or not, just like they did with Bush.

Just proves what we've always known - dems in DC are a bunch of liars. They swore up and down it wasn't a tax - there was even a version of the bill early on that called it a tax and the senate rejected it, many dems saying they wouldn't vote for it if it was a tax, but were then assured it was a penalty, not a tax. Now they're touting the fact that it passed as a tax? Sounds kinda like "Read my lips" to me. One thing is for certain and that's you cannot trust a politician.

What's done is done. The guy on the meds that affected his cognitive thinking ability caved. Maybe he took too much meds, maybe he was threatened. Who knows. He was going to vote against it and 5 minutes before the vote he switched. That is not because he thought long and hard over it.

Either way, what's done is done. Conservative/independants AND some democrats have the right to speak out about it.

And you think if it didn't pass you wouldn't hear a peep out of 1 democrat? If you think that I've got a bridge for sale.

I love to hear about what others are doing in their gardens. I am in landscape zone 6a. Cherries are not yet blooming here, but daffodils abound.
