Health care reform is moderate - NJ

I think Moore believes in single-payer which is the way to go. But if we tried to get that, we'd get nothing at all. Look at the rabid response to the moderate proposal we're getting.

The health care industry has poured so much money into trashing reform, stirring up people with claims of socialism, and it has been that way each and every time health care reform has been brought up over the decades. Conservatives who believe in smaller government are unfortunately now in bed with the health care industry. The big money is on their side.

Single payer is out. At least for now. Maybe some day we will get to the point where we can see that the almighty dollar is not more important than providing health care. There is no sense in making profits by driving customers into bankruptcy. The system we have is unsustainable as was the credit default mess. We need some long-term solutions.
