Communism/socialism is not the answer because the people who lose are the middle income. The word "irresponsible" does not fit when talking about this. There is nothing irresponsible. When we talk about this they are sitting back laughing at us. They will never pay their fair share because all the politicians and lawmakers are part of the problem.
