are NOT saving jobs, keeping factories in the US like Trump promised they would do. Carrier is laying off 600 people and moving plant to Mexico, Boeing layinig off 200, Ford Focus not moving to Mexico but rather to China. I thought Trump was the great negotiator and deal maker... what happened?

They don't care. I get why Ford is going to China instead of Mexico. They sell 80,000 Focuses there a year so why not build them there. I think they are re-tooling the plant here to make SUVs though. Carrier employees are not happy about it and Carrier even got 7 million dollar incentive to keep plant here. Employees at Carrier are not happy just like the coal miners.

The sad part is the Carrier and coal employees believed Trump. I knew they were going and I knew coal wasn't coming back but full of hot air Trump had them convinced he was going to save their jobs. Oh well, so sorry for them.

We know how the American workers affected are feeling, don't we? when their jobs migrate overseas? It is just a fact of the global economy and it is a cruel to promise otherwise and then not be able to keep it. The really annoying part is the $$$ subsidies these companies eagerly accepted, knowing all the time what their future plans really were.

However, I disagree on the Ford statement. China will be exporting the Focus back to the US. Ford should have increased the hiring and plant capacity here, not send these new jobs to China.

Whenever there is no defense for what Trump says or does or how many campaign promises are broken or lies are told it never fails that his supporters will bring up Obama or Clinton. Every time. It's getting old. Just defend the man you voted for. Waiting. . .
