After extracting information from a WSJ article about student debt, Ted Crud portrayed him on national television as a hopeless, homeless, college kid, strapped with student loan debt who is forced to sleep on his friend's couch. Crud decided to showcase these details of John Connelly's life (someone he never even met or talked to) in his phoney filibuster aimed at discrediting Obamacare.
Apparently, Mr Connelly didn't much appreciate being used to illustrate helplessness and homelessness Crud attributed to President Obama. He took to the airways today to expose Crud for the hack** that he is and to express his gratitude for Obamacare. It wasn't a difficult task, and one he took care of in a few short sentences:
"A friend of mine called me the next morning as I was on the way to an optometrist appointment...and said, 'While Ted Cruz was talking about why the ACA's bad, he mentioned your name.' And I said, 'Well, that's funny. I'm heading to an appointment I can only go to because of Obamacare."
