Capitalism is not a 4-letter word. Don't let mental midgets like Sanders

It's really quite this simple:  No economic model in the history of the world has lifted more people out of poverty, and raised the standard of living of ALL economic strata, from "poor" to "rich", as the system known as capitalism.  

If you doubt this, either you haven't studied economic systems or the history of the revolutions that have been based on socioeconomics, or, if you haven't had that opportunity, you haven't even been paying attention to the world around you.

In 1959, my family came to the US from Russia, 9 people living in a walk-up 2-room apartment in Queens.  My father went to work for $2.10/hour in a local deli.  He scrimped and saved for 10 years and with those savings and a small loan he bought his own deli.  Six years after that, he owned four of them, and within 12 years he owned 18 delis and small neighborhood grocery stores that made him over $3 million a year. 

Now, if you think that any of that would have been possible under anything other than a capitalist system, you're either butt-ignorant or insane.

Bernie Sanders is selling envy, pure and simple.  Have you actually thought about his silly slogan, "People before profits"??  Capitalism is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE, because without satisfying the needs of PEOPLE, THERE ARE NO PROFITS!!  On the other hand, socialism is NOT ABOUT PEOPLE AT ALL!!

Wake up.  Grow up.  Equality of station is not and never will be the outcome of ANY economic system, regardless of WHAT it is.  Just check out Cuba if you care for proof.
