Can someone please explain to me

How democrats and our president are blaming republicans hard core for not passing the jobs bill when the senate's vote against the bill was bipartisan? Obviously there are democrats who do not like this bill either. So why the constant republican bashing?

The $447 billion plan died on a 50-49 tally that garnered a majority of the 100-member Senate but fell well short of the 60 votes needed to keep the bill alive. The tally had been 51-48, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid switched his vote to "nay" so that he could force a future revote

I think only 2 democrats voted against it. All republicans voted against it.

the main reason the republicans did not want it was because of the increase in taxes to the wealthy. There were many cuts in there for the low income people, but they don't see it as give a little, take a little. They want all the cuts for the poor and middle class but won't vote if there's an increase in the wealthy people's taxes. The president tried to work with them but they refused. Now the pubs will say that the president just won't work with them. If the tax increase for the wealthy was not on there, I'm sure they would have passed it. They believe that everyone should pay their fair share unless they are wealthy.

they will take all kinds of cuts in safety measures when they are not monitored so they can make more money, why would you want regulations cut? You better start building a bubble with oxygen tanks to live in to protect yourself from polution, capture rainwater to drink; oh wait, that is already polluted by corporations spilling crap into the air. Grow your own food and raise your own cattle and chickens so you don't die from eating it. Plan on a nuclear meltdown or 2 because nobody is watching them. Don't go out to eat because you might be poisoned or eat rat poop or roaches. You won't need suntan oil at the beach, just take a swim first in the oily water. Yeah, those stupid regulations.
