I found a recipe for no bake chocolate oat bars, but I'm confused about the conversion rate they have. (I'll post the recipe below). They look good so wanted to give it a try. My question is this... Is .5 cups = 1/2 cup? It says - .5 cup, packed (7.8 oz.) Brown Sugar. When I looked up how many ounces in 1/2 cup the i-net has 1/2 cup = 4 oz. When I looked up how many cups is 7.8 oz it says 7.8 oz = .975 c. I've never heard of .975 cups. S ...
