That just shows me that Obama is very naive where foreign policy and dealing with Russia is concerned. He should have know Putin isn't enamored of this country and I really don't think he likes Obama at all.

What Putin did was to call Obama's bluff and now we're heading back to a cold war with Putin because Obama's ego just can't deal with the so-called slap in the face (or should I say the put down by Putin. Is that softer language to use?).

You would think that after 5-1/2 years, he would understand Russia a wee bit better.

If a cold war is starting/continuing, it's not Obama's fault. He didn't break the law and flee to a communist country in a cowardly, hypocritical move. If anyone is to blame, it's Putin for putting this little nobody creep on a political pedestal. He used Snowden like a little communist pawn to carry out an agenda that was obviously in place for a long time. If he had any intention to improve or continue a good relationship with the US, he would not have provided shelter to a US criminal.

Why should Obama be blamed for things done criminally wrong by a US citizen or a completely reckless action by a communist leader?

At least now that he's been in there, even though its a failure, I'll still take him over her any day. I voted for him to keep her out.

She has no experience, she doesn't know what she is doing. She's responsible for deaths of American citizens (has no regards for a human life, as in "oh well". Benghazi, Travelgate, The list of horrors goes on and on and on.

announced their separation. Speculation ranges from her being holed up in a hospital because she's pregnant to being imprisoned in an asylum. What doesn't seem to be speculation is his prior and continuing relation with a female gymnast.

Not that our President would cancel a meeting from distaste over a missing wife. Many issues have developed with Putin, who is a major troublemaker for everyone, not just us, and I suspect many things go into this cancellation, some of which we have no idea of. The Snowden business probably just showed there was no point to seeking cooperation with Putin at this point. Although we don't have a formal extradition agreement with Russia, our two countries had been cooperating in extraditing to each other for some time.

We had made such good progress with his predecessor. It's a shame.
