it could take care of people better than churches, they abandoned their role and let politicians use this as a way to gain votes that keep them in power.

This is not Biblical. How to take care of the poor is laid out in the Bible, including tithing, leaving food in the garden on the ends for the poor to pick, etc. Even the poor have to tithe to have skin in the game.

Churches have been infiltrated with "social justice" - over the past few years.

Some of them have changed their stance on homosexuality and even tolerate abortion, and have undermined Scripture. They have no allegiance to the Bible. Romans 1 describes what is happening.

here is part of what he said regarding Bernie speech..."and lightning hit my heart at that moment. And I realized that we are evangelical Christians. We believe the Bible. We believe in Jesus. I listened to Bernie Sanders as he said he wanted to welcome the immigrants and give them dignity, as he said he wanted to care for the sick children and mothers and fathers who do not have health care, as he said he wanted to decrease the amount of human beings who are corralled like cattle in the prisons, as he said he wanted to do justice for those who have nothing and live homeless. And I remembered the words of Jesus who warned his disciples that there will be judgement, and on that day he will look to his friends, and he will say "Blessed are you for you cared for me, for I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you cared for me, I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was in prison and you came to visit me, I was homeless and you gave me shelter." And his disciples said, "When did we do any of those things for you?" And he said, "If you have done it for the least of these, you have done it for me." How would you interpret his interpretation of the Bible?

to do it. You are relinquishing your role by doing that. There was no idea proposed by Karl Marx or any other socialist that did not already appear in other published books at the time. He merely pulled the ideas together and gave them a“religious” gloss.

As far as illegal immigration, would you leave your doors to your house unlocked and let anyone come in?

There's nothing unbiblical about screening immigrants. I would like to know what has happened to the billions of dollars in aid we've sent over the years, since politicians equate money with compassion. We have laws about immigration, but since this is a lawless society it doesn't matter. Same thing in Europe. What about the welfare of the native born? Back when we had a Constitution, it said "take care that the Laws be faithfully executed."

This is an excellent prelude to the chaos that is yet to come It's all in prophesy at the end of the Bible, what will happen if you turn our back on God's laws.

We are not required to commit national suicide - to make some people feel good.

I say take care of Americans and vets first.

We feed the hungry and clothe the naked. That doesn't mean we let them camp out in our daughter's bedroom.
Misguided 'moral obligations' end up subsidizing bad behavior.

unless you are an evangelical Christian. Any student that posts on social media anything that is contrary to their teachings is subject to punishment, up to and including expulsion. The positive reaction by the students to Bernie's speech was inspiring and their free speech expressed.

is a conservative college that takes no federal aid. Therefore, it is not beholding to the fed for anything. I believe they do have scholarships.
