There has been this crazy movement in the States that have their legislatures and executive branch all in the Republican party. They have pushed through anti-bargaining legislation, they are trying to take away the people's right to vote through various shennanigans, they are trying to deregulate the polluting industries, and now they are even trying to force women into getting transvaginal ultrasounds. I didn't go and vote the last election, but I certainly will be voting out this craziness this time.

Women earn 77 cents for every dollar that men make. In Wisconsin, it’s 75 cents, according to [the Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health], which also estimates that families in the state “lose more than $4,000 per year due to unequal pay.”

Nobody is trying to take away anyone's right to vote. If that is what you are being told you might want to change the channel and listen to something else, or at least do a little research. I think people need to be more careful who they vote for on a more local level (township, city, county, state, etc.). It seems that quite a few states are taking advantage of Rick Santorum's most outrageous ideas and changing their laws, appearing almost orchestrated.
