it was about, but my prayers are with you! Most of today's prayer requests are about financial difficulties, and I am going through that right now too. I lost my three clients all within a month to EMR and I am currently looking for work, but it is hard when you are over 60, nobody wants you, and this industry is so bad. I am hurting too, so if your need is financial, I will surely pray for you. I pray for all of you who are in a bad way. Life is not easy these days, for any of us. Be gentle with these pained souls, dear Lord!

On a side note, some people say they are Christians because they attend a church, but Christianity comes from the heart and soul, not a church. Actions speak louder than words, and foregiveness is one of those actions, as well.

Sorry you're struggling, and I certainly send all good thoughts your way. It's not easy going through tough times; seems unbearable at times, I know.

Btw, I'm not a Christian, but I am still a worthwhile person.

My mother used to say that everyone learns the same lessons in life, but some people learn them later than others. Her meaning was that not everyone learns their lessons easily or even the first time. I have found that to be so true. She was speaking of me. I have been through some truly difficult times and just kept asking myself "what it is I am supposed to be learning?" I developed my faith and it brought me out of the really dark times. I'm certainly not breezing along, but the darkest times have passed.

A Christian would encourage you to work through these hard times with prayer and praise to the Lord for blessing you with children, a roof over your head, and friends you can turn to and bless you with help (even if did not take care of all your needs).

Here is a poem that I have found very helpful:

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character: it becomes your destiny.
