I have always preferred cold drinks, before becoming a breastfeeding mother, while I was breastfeeding both my children, and still to this day prefer most drinks cold, with the exception of coffee, hot chocolate, or hot tea.

Expired Children Drinks Jul 01, 2013This weekend at a fireworks celebration in our town someone donated drinks to the children. You know those little flavored plastic bottles, maybe 6 inches tall. Some had a plastic cap that you pullled and it unraveled and came off, some had tin foil. One child was heard to say "Hey there must have been some paper in my drink". He evidently swallowed something. Another person looked at the container and it had clearly printed an expiration date of 2009 on it and when inspected s ...

Obama Agency Rules Pepsi's Use Of Aborted Fetal Cells In Soft Drinks - Business As UsualMay 08, 2012I heard about the story of smuggled capsules of human flesh made in you know where. As if finding out they eat eggs cooked in urine of small boys was not enough to make me gag. So, then found that Pepsi uses fetal cells as a flavor enhancer (at least that's my understanding of the article - could be wrong of course). Then I read that Obama's administration said it's okay to use aborted fetus in Pepsi. Again, maybe I read that wrong. Either way, never ...

How To Treat A ColdFeb 12, 2017I have tried this and it works:
1. Place a hat at the end of your bed. It can be any kind of hat.
2. Get into bed and pull up the covers.
3. Drink whiskey until you see two hats.
If it doesn't work, it won't matter.

Florida ColdFeb 19, 2015At the risk of getting tomatoes thrown at me for those people in the north, here in SW Florida, we're not used to cold weather. It's 56 today, and going into the 30s tonight. I can't stop shivering. The heat in many of the homes is not efficient at all (it shouldn't have to be!), and our windows and doors aren't insulated. We have an open floor plan and high, vaulted ceilings, so heating it is almost impossible. And it's windy out so all the cold here is coming in t ...
Cold FeetJan 14, 2016I am reaching out to my fellow MT's to ask what to do about my cold feet. This time of year my feet get extremely cold while I type all day. I have never typed in shoes, and really cannot because I can't feel the difference in the pedals. If I wear shoes I end up backspacing or forwarding all the time. I can wear house shoes with a very soft, flexible sole most of the time, but my feet freeze this time of year. Any suggestions? ...
How Well Does Cold Water Clean Dishes?Jan 13, 2010John went to visit his 90-year-old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Saskatchewan
After spending a great evening chatting the night away, the next morning John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.
However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, 'Are these plates clean?'
His grandfather replied, 'They're as clean as cold water can get em. Just you go ahead and fin ...

Cold/virus Causing Vile Breath?Nov 23, 2010On Saturday night, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's house for a pre-Thanksgiving gathering. While there, I noticed that his breath was exceptionally rank (I could be standing 3 feet from him and smell it). After pushing gum several times and him turning it down, I finally had to tell him his breath was terrible. He chewed gum, but it never really got better.
On Sunday, he started not feeling well...like he was coming down with a cold. Yesterday, he felt worse.

Stop Hurting Your Engine By 'warming Up' The Car When It's Cold OutJan 26, 2016
Business Insider
January 21, 2016
Harsh driving conditions in winter are already hard on your car, but you could be making things a lot worse if you're turning your vehicle on in the morning so it can 'warm up' before you drive off.
If you're one of the many drivers who thinks it's important to idle your car — turn it on and let it sit — in these frigid winter months to protect the engine, you've likely fallen victim to a myth that may be doin ...
Freezing Cold Hands, Feet And Nose But Hot And Sweating Everywhere ElseJan 17, 2011Does anyone else have this problem. I can not stand it. My hands and feet and nose are so cold. I have socks and slippers on. In fact, my right foot is much colder than my left and is painful cold. Any Tips On Using Cold Water To Defrost A 17-pound Turkey?Nov 17, 2011I usually buy fresh birds, but opted for the more budget-friendly 39-cents-per-pound rock-solid frozen version this time This turkey will be cooked before Sunday (hving an erly get-together), so I don't quite have enough time to defrost it in the fridge. The instructions suggest submersion in "cool" water in the sink for 30 minutes per pound, with frequent water changes. It has air-tight vacuum sealed packaging.

Obama Says Strains Over Ukraine Not Leading To New Cold War With RussiaJul 30, 2014This is the best quote I ever heard come out of the president's mouth, but the situation with Putin just seems be growing more worrisome each day.
"It's not a new Cold War," Obama told reporters. "What it is, is a very specific issue related to Russia's unwillingness to recognize that Ukraine can chart its own path."
