What TV commercial can you just not stand?

The ads for Kit Kat candy bars drive me insane.

The syncopated crackity crack crack... I swear one of these times I am going to blow an artery trying to get to the remote control before the next snappity snap snap, snappity snap snap. I can't hit mute fast enough.

are completely ignorant and do nothing to entice me to buy their product. Among my least favorites are.....

Any Billy Mays commercial, even though Billy Mays no longer does them. I can't stand the shouting.

The State Farm commercials where the guy calls his agent crying because he ran his car into a tree or his house.

The Pop-Tarts commercial where the little boy goes through a whole cartoon scenario.

The toilet tissue commercial where the survey of women explain that it's not just about getting clean but more so about keeping your hands clean... Eeeewwww.

Why can't we have some decent commercials like Euell Gibbon's Grape-Nut commercials any more? LOL

Okay... my all time least fav. commercial that was nationally broadcasted has to be the one a few years back for Lysol (maybe Clorox) where the woman was wiping down her kitchen with the raw chicken thigh instead of a sponge. Triggered an immediate gag response. Ugh!

But you haven't seen bottom-of-the-barrel cheezy commercials guaranteed to get stuck in your head for the rest of the day - or just really annoy you - until you've sampled some of the local Long Island/5 borough dandies run on the local stations here. I absolutely cannot stand the Progressive insurance ads with Flo. Don't even get me going on that horrible hairstyle and that red lipstick. I read where it takes her 2 hours to get made up to look like that. I will be SOOOOO glad when they quit showing those ads.

I am definitely challenged when it comes to knowing if something looks right. I'm thinking of getting a new flat screen television and the one I have in mind is about 10 inches longer than the stand I have. I love my stand and matching tables and want to keep it/them. I never see TVs longer than stands in ads and in displays. I don't want to buy it, get it home and set up only to find I really hate it that it is longer than the stand. Anybody care to offer ...
