Cold here in NE, anxious to plant and would like something different. I have bought a few verbena, a few coleus, would like to switch off from the "usual" and do something that "pops" - still too cold but dying to get outside and plant! Garden shop suggests waiting until Memorial Day - tooooo long! Ideas?

Just recently I have been experiencing symptoms that would fit this diagnosis. My father also has the same problem. I have watched stretching videos online and have begun to incorporate those as well as ice and rolling my foot around on a tennis ball while I work. Luckily it is my left foot. I have had a bone spur for years but it hasn't bothered me until lately. Went to the orthopedist and yes, there is a bone spur but he thinks the problem is more plantar fasciitis. For those that are really handy around the house maybe you can help me. I have aluminum windows in my house and the one I use a lot the cord broke in the one side and the spring mechanism fell out so I can still put it up but it is wobbly.
