Update on my eBay sales

Hello. It's been at least a year since I wrote several posts regarding making extra money by selling on eBay. I haven't been back here in so long, and yet I still see many struggling. When I first started selling, my initial goal was to at least be able to pay my utilities with my eBay money. Then it became paying my rent. My rent is $845. For the month of July (which is the S-L-O-W time on eBay), I had gross sales of $843. Now, eBay and PayPal took their 13.5% cut (combined, not each) off the top, and I pay $14.95 a month for a listing program that helps me list more quickly and easily. And then I had COGS -- Costs of Good Sold -- that had to be deducted from that total. Some of my sales were personal items that I just had laying around, like sealed vitamins that I am never going to use, so I really wouldn't include those as COGS. So, I didn't make my monthly goal. But I am still happy with what I did make, especially knowing that July has the slowest sales for everybody on eBay. I just wanted to post how I'm doing in the hopes that some will see this as a way to a bit of financial relief. I feel grateful to this board because it was a post right here in Gab over a year ago that gave me the idea. So I continue to pay it forward.;
