Getting poems published...and a photo of my artwork!

Requested scholarship app for art school...now I finally heard back about some poems I sent to a lit journal - they're taking all of them (three) plus my photo of my artwork (a painting).

Only need to publish 17 more poems and I can apply for a National Endowment for the Arts grant. Oh yeah.

I would like to share photo - but - it's the copyright thing for the magazine. I don't even have any websites now where I could upload a pic. I have other pics. I should take more pics.

Really weird coincidence at work today - my coworker knows another poet that I know - totally unexpected. Meaning, maybe you and I know each other, or worked at the same crummy MTSO once upon a time! :)

What kind of art work do you do? Do you have enough for a show? If so, there are a lot of coffee shops that display local art talent. I had my work in a coffee shop for a month a few years back. Was freaky to walk in and stand there and see all my pictures and nobody know it was ME that did them....gives you quite an ego boost. We finally got the first two books in my husband's children's beginner's chapter book series"Lionel's Grand Adventure" published. In each book Lionel will learn a lesson that all kids should learn. Does anybody have a reasonable priced site to create photo albums? We spend alot of time with our grandchildren and would like to create a quick inexpensive photo album to give to them as a souvenir of our trips - I know that Shutterfly does some - anybody use Walgreens or another similar site to create something? They have to be reasonable priced as we would like to make one for each child and we have 4 grandchildren.....they should be somewhat durable...... ...

Like many, I thought at first that it's not a big deal to have to show photo ID to vote since we're required to show it for a lot of things; but then I started hearing more about the difficulties in obtaining one for the poor, the urban population, and especially the elderly.
