My desk faces a window that looks out on a huge tree in my front yard. It's a big beautiful tree that shades the yard and helps keep my office cool in the summer and blocks the sun from hitting my eyes. Last week the tree was still green. Every morning this week as I sit down at my desk and open the blind I'm greeted by a brand new picture as the leaves are turning first bright yellow and now going into orange. With everyone out of work and/or broke, now only ~46 days before Christnmas, Obama imposes a 15-cent-per-tree tax for sellers of over 500 trees to pay.
