We spent 2 weeks in Montana, Idaho and Eastern Washington in early August and I know what it is like. You are in our prayers. I have never seen it as dry as it is there.
It is no different than a few years ago when a blizzard hit South Dakota in October and ranchers lost thousands of cattle. It was never on the news.
