I always want a place with a wood burning stove, something for heat other then power, comes in very handy and is the main source of heat at this time.At this time I have enough gadgets and power for them to most likely last a week, and there are ways to cook, lighting, food, water stays on etc... so it is mostly an entertainment issue when the power goes out and with all these gadgets these days it is easier to stay entertained. A few days ago my driver's side window does not work. My friend told me that she had the same problem some years back and had to take it to the dealer and it cost $300.00 to have it fixed. I just want to warn everyone that if you use the new improved Cascade dishwasher detergent powder to stop immediately and find something else to use. I have been using Cascade powder for 15 years but we spent 2 days unblocking a 4 inch drainage pipe. It turns out that the Cascade has changed their formula and the detergent never disintegrated.
