Aside from the fact that we have to foot the bill for these illegals is the mention of English-Spanish dictionaries. This is America and our native language - office language - is ENGLISH, not Spanish. I'm of German descent - yet my ancestors spoke English when the LEGALLY settled here. So did all of the other immigrants who came to this country legally (such as the 16 new US citizens who waited their turn and became legal, documented citizens in my area just this past month). This entire invasion is beyond infuriating.

Actually, America's "native" language isn't English. - Try Choctaw, Cherokee, Navajo, Ute, etc.)

it has to do with English-speaking people taking over a country that already had a native population, and basically exterminating most of them.

You talk about "native" Americans speaking English. Yes, many of us modern-day people born in America do speak English as our primary language, but many do not, and some never did.

Just because we have a dictionary in our language that is available in all bookstores doesn't make us somehow "special".
