can totally ignore Obama's gun-running escapades in Benghazi, and the monthly lie detector tests for intimidation of the CIA agents who were there. Not a mention of it this morning. Suppression of news - isn't that what Communists do? I know we should be used to it by now, but my God. He could commit a murder on camera and none of the sheep would care. It's like they really did drink the Kool-Aid.

This is real to them, and what they do with their vote is real to everyone. And of course, outside our little forum many, more mainstream religious people do believe in end times and suspect we are in them now. Very strongly to the point, dominionism has gathered strength inside mainstream Christian churches (presented as benign and sensible, not the potential religious takeover it would be if followed to its logical conclusion), and millions of these people take their beliefs to the polls. They love calling anyone that doesn't agree with them "sheep." It's certainly not the first time we've heard it, right? Great men for centuries have used the analogy on numerous occasions, however, more often that not to instruct others rather than to insult them. It always astounds me that the right wingers will even deign to broach the subject of the "end times" or the imminent return of Jesus and how they speak of it in terms as though somehow they're eager and that those whom *they* perceive to be the evildoers and the "sheep" are somehow going to suffer upon His return.

I advise these types of people that if they truly believe that Jesus is a man of His word, they should review His teachings contained in Matthew 25, verses 31-46 where Jesus proclaims that He will return to earth and before Him shall be gathered all nations, and He will separate these nations like a shepherd separates "sheep" and "goats" and how He will place the "sheep" upon the right of Him.

Jesus instructs that how nations treat the hungry, the thirsty, the sick and other "least of these," is how they treat Jesus himself and if nations fail to help the "least of these," Jesus promises, He will send them to Hell.

What usually follows is somebody explaining that just because Jesus said those words doesn't mean that the government has to be the one that does all that and that churches can do it. Then you remind them that in Jesus's time their religion was their government. The translation of Torah is law. Then they will actually begin extolling the virtues of separation of Church and State. You know, that same separation of religion and government that they usually argue *against* because it keeps prayer out of government funded schools.

What will Jesus really do? Time will tell. But if I was a right wing activist lawmaker trying to derail affordable healthcare, slash funding of food stamps, and impede the passage of a comprehensive immigration bill, all the while justifying my political, legislative, and regulatory agenda as fulfilling God's plan, then I certainly would not be all too eager to find out.

If you're blaming grocery prices on the POTUS, you should educate yourself regarding capitalism and how the free market operates. There are a lot of forces in the free market that cause prices to rise and fall in markets all over the world. Supply, demand, weather conditions, etc. The droughts of 2012/2013 have ruined key crops like corn, soybeans, wheat, etc. and have driven up prices of commodities and forced large amounts of farmers to compete to obtain feed for their livestock. Many farmers have been forced to cut back on their numbers of livestock in order to limit costs and so have created a shortage of beef, chicken, pork, and other commodities.

Droughts are not something the government can control, but you won't hear many people blaming God for price increases.

Your economic situation is yours and not exactly the responsibility of the President. Regardless of your political affiliation, to blame any politician for your personal situation might make you feel better, but it sure wonâ��t improve your economic prospects.

The owners and operators of Fox News Entertainment have a political agenda. My advice to "believers" of Fox is to learn everything you can about Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes. Realize that their political ambitions and their spinning of "news" might not necessarily be what you were led to believe. Understand the possibility that you might actually be listening to propaganda in order to further someone else's political agenda. The Murdoch fortune is distributed in many directions all over the world. Google Rupert Murdoch and learn all you can about his political influence worldwide. I think you might be surprised.

Follow the money.

For instance, Murdoch has actually hosted fundraisers for Hillary Clinton and has also developed a relationship with former President Clinton and participated in conference calls of the Clinton Global Initiative.

In a 2008 interview with Walt Mossberg, Murdoch was asked whether he had "anything to do with the New York Post's endorsement of Barack Obama in the democratic primaries." Without hesitating, Murdoch replied, "Yeah. He is a rock star. It's fantastic. I love what he is saying about education. I don't think he will win Florida... but he will win in Ohio and the election."

In 2008, Obama did win Ohio by a 4.6 margin and Florida too by 2.8%. You know the rest.

Interestingly, it was the CIA under David Petraeus who led the changes to Susan Rice's talking points, so that the first and subsequent drafts claimed the attacks were spontaneously inspired by protests in Cairo. This latest news report regarding this witch hunt to blame Obama could actually place more blame for missteps during and after Benghazi squarely on the shoulders of the CIA. Is that a can of worms the right wingers want to open?

Paula Broadwell (you might remember she was having an affair with the head of the CIA at the time, none other than that same David Petraeus). She gave a speech in which she claims that the Benghazi annex that was targeted during the attacks was being used by the CIA to detain suspected terrorists. Yeah, it was a prison break.

I can only imagine she came across this information because she was having an affair with the CIA director. This speech was given before Petraeus offered his resignation over the affair. At this point it was not public knowledge yet.

Also interestingly, about a year before all of this, Roger Ailes had sent one of his employees to offer General David Petraeus his full support in financing a campaign for the presidency and telling him to retire in six months (which he did actually). You might remember that Roger Ailes is the head of Fox News Entertainment. Fox News were also asking their boy how to spin the news to make Obama look bad but not himself.

Now I wish I could give you a link of the right wing congressional attack dogs hammering away at David Petraeus with tough questions about why dozens of CIA operatives were in Benghazi, but since the GOP never bothered to further damage their potential candidate and decided to protect him in all of this, alas, there is no such link.

Funny how the search for truth about Benghazi never really went in any direction that didn't go after Obama/Hillary. The truth never really figured in the equation.
