Pray for all the drug addicts and mostly their families

My brother died from Crack addiction 30 years. Now my son has the same problem. This is a living hell to go through for the families. Instead of just asking for prayer for me and my family I ask that you pray for all the drug addicts and their families. If it could help any of them it would be so great.

I see no end in site for my family and I know there are probably families going through worse than mine. If there was a cure for this the person who invented it would be a billionaire. I would really appreciate it, and I would love if it would help. When my brother died I realized it really was a disease. Its an addiction and they will do anything and everything they can to get money for this drug. Please pray that the addicts will realize how terrible this is and that they don't want to live like this anymore and pray that the families will have some help from anywhere they can get it, rehab, or whatever.

You are not alone. My son has been battling this disease. It started with pain medication after a serious car accident, then shoulder surgery and progressed to heroin. He is currently in a sober house and I pray this time is the one that works. He has lost everything, moved in with us and took everything. Until he lost all contact with his son for 8 months, he didn't have enough motivation. Tough love was the only thing that got through to him. It is heart breaking for the family too. I had no idea where he was or if he was dead or alive during that time. My parents are especially hard hit by this. He is their first grandchild.
There are no rehab facilities in my county. None even close. My town is small and relatively poor. It is the town that made national news recently showing the 4 year old in the back seat while driver and grandmother are overdosed. It can and does happen to any kind of family.
I will pray for you and your with all sincerity. Please keep us in your prayers as well.

Thank you. It is a living hell. I'm trying tough love. I hope it is getting through to him. He does good one day and then 3 days later back to the drugs. I am not even really sure exactly what it is I know it was crack for a long time, but don't know if he has gotten into anything else. I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks for your concern. Yes I did see that on the news but not sure where it happened. Really sad though. I told my son if he had a million dollars it wouldn't be enough for his habit. He would have it all spent in one day or week. Thanks again.
