I found the DailyKos exchange between the two both interesting and enlightening. If the contents of the post and viral email had any discernible integrity, there should be no problem with subjecting it to the scrutiny of a 2-sided dialog in the light of day.

I was trying to be neutral but show that, had Bush had the war on his books while he was president, his spending would have been enormous, too. I found a chart online that shows that Obama's new spending projections from 2002 through 2017 are actually far lower than Bush's spending during his time in the White House. Will post link if I can find it.

I think the poster was remarking that Bush had not tallied the costs of war into the debt - thus making it appear that Obama created the debt - when, in fact, it belonged to the Bush administration.
Notably, for the first time in history, this war was NOT financed by tax dollars. This war was essentially paid for on credit - a major problem that has everything to do with our cuurrent economic situation.
