Obama

I have been a life-long Democrat, as has almost my entire family.   I have voted in every election since I was legally allowed to do so.   There were times I split my vote, but for the most part, I voted the party line.  Those times are fast ending in part because of the endless vile and abusive comments directed at ANYONE on this board not blinded to Obama’s faults, and there are many.   No human being is flawless and that includes Obama – he is a mightily flawed person and an even more flawed president.  The inability for posters to even acknowledge the humanity of Obama’s mistakes and endless lies, speaks volumes of their inability to have any reasoned discussion.  His shortcomings have far surpassed disappointment; Obama has elevated them to outright abuse of the American public and lawlessness.  Would all these things be overlooked if it were a Republican or Independent – I think not. 

Obamacare – My family has worked hard and long to provide for our family and pay our bills, educate our children, and be good stewards of our incomes.  Never took a hand out, but gave substantially to charity.  Because of this law, we are quickly seeing all of that vanish before our eyes.  Our premium increased by 500%; yes, you read that right.  We lost our insurance because of Obamacare (spare the spin, it was cancelled because it did not comply with the new law- OBAMACARE, which is anything but affordable).   All because OBAMA decided it was an inferior plan, despite that fact that this insurance served my family quite well.  We are now paying for coverage we never wanted, never used, did not need, all because some arrogant president along with low-information Democrats that did not read it, nor cared what it would do to millions, forced it upon us.  Their bogus claim that we were paying for the uninsured was bogus.  Now I pay for the drug addict who refuses to work, those that are too lazy to work, illegal aliens who are not legally able to work, orthodontics for children under 12 that I do not have, reproductive services I have no need for, and then have to subsidize those that refuse to work harder or lose their subsidies.  We now work the equivalent of 3 full time jobs and make less under Obama, then we did before.  None of my family’s docs are in the exchange.  Now I have to drive 50+ miles to see an exchange doctor that is overworked, knows nothing of my family and probably does not care because they are so buried under Obamacare paperwork, affiliated with a hospital too far to get to in an emergency; so ALL emergencies are now out of pocket.  Not only did premiums increase by 500%, but our out-of-pocket and deductibles are now over $ 10,000 dollars – this is affordable in what world or context?  Now add the 23+ new taxes on the middle class.   There were over 123 programs for the poor the truly needed them, without upending the entire US population.  The infringement on my religious beliefs and free speech can be added to the never-ending list of abuses to the American public under Obama. 

Benghazi – It makes me sick at my stomach that Democrats call this a “nonissue” because telling the truth does not serve them politically.  Any time any American dies, it is a very big issue, and not just because we were attacked on our own soil.  The endless lies are disturbing on so many levels.  To have the lies roll off the tongues so easily of Obama, Clinton, Rice, the State Department to cover their own hides, with complete disregard for the lives lost and what the families of the lost have gone through, makes me embarrassed to be a Democrat – blaming this for weeks on a video when they knew for a fact it was a terrorist attack within minutes of it starting is indefensible.   The entire Obama Administration’s flippant, arrogant in dismissing American lives is disgusting. 

IRS – Anyone NOT concerned about the endless lies and the abuse of this power truly is lacking the ability to reason, and really needs to examine their comprehension faculties.  Jarrett clearly stated that “if you are not with us, you are against us and you will pay”. 

As a Democrat, I am outraged THAT NO ONE HAS BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR SUCH EGREGIOUS ABUSES.  Letting a supervisor leave early that was retiring in a few months is not accountability; that is a vacation. 

I view each situation as how would I want infractions to be handled if I was the recipient of the abuse being perpetrated.  Would I tolerate that abuse of power in my family, would my children be accountable if they lied?  Obama holds no one accountable, least of all himself.
