Chuck Todd totally failed here. That said, Ms. Conway could have done a better job IMO.

Crowd sizes are ESTIMATES -- that's all they have to go by. TV ratings, like Neilsen, on the other hand, are quantifiable.

I have seen numbers all over the place ESTIMATING the crowd size in attendance in DC on Friday. This is politics: Not surprisingly, the Trump team used the higher numbers. It doesn't surprise me one whit that liberal-run media outlets would choose the lower numbers.

The inauguration did break records for the global TV audience.

Also, the forecasted inclement weather plus the threat of DOMESTIC TERRORISM keep many folks away. I personally know three fed employees in DC, all Trump supporters, who sat this one out. They KNOW the city, yet, because of the DOMESTIC TERRORIST threat, decided to watch it on TV. (They were off work on Friday.) And, after seeing limos on fire, windows smashed, people injured, etc. I can't say that I blame them.

By the way Spicer made an actual speech filled with lies to the whole country to stroke Trump's ego. The news media didn't make a big deal out of it, they are just reporting the stupidity of the Trump team. Now Conway is trying to legitimize the lie. Actually, nobody really cared until Spicer came out spewing lies and Conway called it alternative truth.

The folks on the right really don't get how dangerous this is. Trump is staging a coup and the right doesn't see it. Soon, if they have their way, we will only be allowed to watch Trump TV. You call us socialists. I see a dictatorship in our future if people don't wake up.
