Scottie is claiming he is clean as a whistle, but is quietly assembling his legal defense funds just the same and lawyering up behind the John Doe investigation. He's using funds from his campaign donors to cover his legal expenses while denying any wrongdoing. He says he's not under investigataion, but state laws governing the authorization of legal defense funds suggest Scottie is fibbing about that. Former Walker aids have been charged with multiple counts of embezzlement and violations of prohibited election practices. Meanwhile, the gov is day dreaming about making bigger bucks in the private sector. He's turning out to be the quintessential poster child for abuse of power and corruption.
