Trump paid ZERO taxes!

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Cay Johnston, who has covered Trump off and on for 27 years, reports that he has three of Trumps tax returns from the late 70s - early 80s show Trump paid NO income tax, despite bragging about a 400 million annual income! Ralph Nader also reported there were years when Trump paid zero taxes, but he did not specify which years.

I found it interesting that when Donald Trump refers to IRS audits, he says they are on "two to three returns", yet a spokesman for Trump was on CNN yesterday and stated "eight returns" are (or have been) audited. It's unknown why Trump will not release his returns that are not under audit. IRS also confirmed that there is no legal reason Trump cannot release his tax returns. It may be that he has far less money than he claims, as when Bank records were seen, he was claiming to be a multi-trillionaire, but he had a minus balance at the time he filled out his net worth statem

The tax laws are what they are, and no one has any obligation to pay one cent of tax that the law does not require. Even very liberal judges have held to this principle. As long as Trump filed his taxes and followed the law THAT IS ALL HE IS REQUIRED TO DO. It's all ANYONE is required to do - and I'm sure you take every advantage of the tax provisions every single year that you file as well. So do the Clintons.

So does anyone who isn't a total fool...and I don't care to have a fool for a President.

Meanwhile, his business operations have generated enormous taxes and other government revenues. For instance, he has had to pay huge fees for his real estate developments - for permits, for inspections, etc. His companies have generated work for thousands of workers (whether his own or those of contractors), generating large sums in employment taxes, SS, etc.

Give it a rest. If you don't like the tax laws, then say so (and better yet do something about it). Don't lay it off on Trump. He didn't make the tax laws. He just follows them - exactly like you and I do.
