Trump: An uneasy, lonely, awkward figure....sm

with no capacity to lead the world.

Really is quite - sad. Unfortunately

he represents us in the world and I am sure people are wondering what we were thinking - even though globally I don't think Hillary is well-liked either.

The hatred for Trump is so thick, it's almost demonic. - ....

It seems like useless bantering

You are right on both counts - except

[ In Reply To ..]
It is not almost demonic. It IS demonic.

And yes, it is useless bantering. But it's all they have.

The hatred for Trump is not baseless - old and burned out

[ In Reply To ..]
It has been stated many times that his obvious character flaws and 3rd grade speech enrage people but look at his history. He has cheated people to enrich himself his entire life. He has mistreated women and bragged about it and every day he proves he is unqualified to hold the position of POTUS. He wouldn't be hated as much if he resigned and crawled under a rock where he belongs but he is president for God's sake!

country, but 95%+ of the media are far left socialists. They paint for us a picture of perception, which is generally not reality. They are propagandists.

Here is an even more concise one, and also - why we must be vigilant

[ In Reply To ..]
This is an editorial from the Klaus Brinkbaumer, executive editor of reputable German paper Der Spiegel. Here is an excerpt:

"Donald Trump is not fit to be president of the United States. He does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds nor the tasks associated with it. He doesn't read. He doesn't bother to peruse important files and intelligence reports and knows little about the issues that he has identified as his priorities. His decisions are capricious and they are delivered in the form of tyrannical decrees.

He is a man free of morals. As has been demonstrated hundreds of times, he is a liar, a racist and a cheat. I feel ashamed to use these words, as sharp and loud as they are. But if they apply to anyone, they apply to Trump. And one of the media's tasks is to continue telling things as they are: Trump has to be removed from the White House. Quickly. He is a danger to the world.

Trump is a miserable politician. He fired the FBI director simply because he could. James Comey had gotten under his skin with his investigation into Trump's confidants. Comey had also refused to swear loyalty and fealty to Trump and to abandon the investigation. He had to go."

That's the first 3 paragraphs. And here, the final paragraph, pinpoints the need for vigilance:

"In "Game of Thrones," the Mad King was murdered (and the child that later took his place was no better). In real life, an immature boy sits on the throne of the most important country in the world. He could, at any time, issue a catastrophic order that would immediately be carried out. That is why the parents cannot afford to take their eyes off him even for a second. They cannot succumb to exhaustion because he is so taxing. They ultimately have to send him to his room - and return power to the grownups."

Great article, true article, extremely depressing article.

I read the same kind of stuff about Obama from Europeans. - They thought he was stupid

[ In Reply To ..]

Obama was, however, qualified - like it or not

[ In Reply To ..]
I too like Ivanka better than Trump sitting in on meetings, BUT neither Ivanka NOR Trump should be elected in this country. It is a position to aspire to with your character, your education, your love for country. Someone who is a nasty 2 bit celebrity with no attention span and no experience at all which would benefit this country simply should NOT have been elected.

The Republican party made a mistake allowing him to be their candidate. They had to know how unqualified and what a loose cannon he was in so very many ways.

They unleashed this man on this country and we will all pay for it. They should have allowed him to run as an independent, yeah they wouldn't be in power but he may still have gotten in anyway and then maybe he would mean it when he said he would work with Democrats, he would have to.

Now the Repubs are ramming through their most awful proposals in the hopes that nobody will notice, but we ARE noticing - both that you allowed this un-qualified, really un-Republican candidate to be YOUR candidate, also that you are trying to ruin the middle class by taking money out of health care and other programs so you can pay off your wealthy donors via tax cuts for the 1%.

Also, I guess Citizens United is to blame in a big way. Republicans used to be vehemently against this too, but now you don't hear that so much (since presumably it is benefiting them).

What a mess.
Obama was never qualified. He did, - however,
[ In Reply To ..]
Have the backing of the bankers and Soros. He was chosen for the position. He was a con artist and conned so many people. The followers remind me of the movie The Mummy, followers of Imotep chanting Im-o-tep, Im-o-tep, Im-o-tep.

I don't like Ivanka. We didn't vote in Ivanka, she doesn't have a clearance (that I know of), but then Obama couldn't get a clearance either and he sat in on meetings, so there you go.

We have been blessed to have President Trump. Yes, we have been liberated. He has been unleashed on the demons. Finally!

President Trump was the only person who could turn this country around and start making it great again. He is a business person and that is exactly what the country needed. Not another stuffy politician lying to the people, in bed with the bankers and the evils twiks like Soros, Clintons, etc.

His character, education and love for this country/patriotism, and care for the people of the country IS what got him elected and is part of his qualifying traits. President Trump has been involved in politics his whole life. His understanding of policies and the harm the previous administration and politicians did to this country is a great tribute to his qualifications.

The country chose the president. When there is an election the people chose. Since he won, the people chose. Luckily for the country they chose wisely. Now unfortunately we are seeing the evil hatched and unhinged.

The republicans made a very wise choice and actually it was the people of the country who made that choice. We knew his qualifications and his temperament. He is exactly what this country needed.

I would not call people getting jobs back, better health insurance and care, getting rid of obamadoesntcare, lower taxes, not being persecuted for being conservative or religious, getting rid of bad foreign policies, deals behind closed doors, unleashing Peelousy and Chucky on the people, "paying for it". If that is what you consider "paying for it", then I will be happy to pay.

Un-republican? Well maybe, depending on you definition of republican. Definitely un-neocon, but very much conservative and patriot.

Yes, we are noticing the proposals that republicans are putting forth. Some of them we don't like and others we do, but what is more important is that the country IS noticing the awful proposals the lib/coms are trying to ram through, the obstructionism and the bad policies their banker buddies are pushing, all of them benefit the politicians, not the people. America was tired of that and THAT is why President Trump was elected. There is always a little bad with the good, and so far so good.

Ever since President Trump was elected the creatures are coming out (and crawling out of their holes). They are exposing themselves. It is very good that people are seeing them for what they are.

He was/is. - sm

Donald Trump's IQ is 156. Obama's IQ is 141.

IQ does not - equate to

[ In Reply To ..]
common sense. You can be a genius and bungle social interactions, empathy, basic decency, and even hammering a nail straight. Running a country like the United States takes more than IQ!
I agree with what you say here but - mt
[ In Reply To ..]
the left has been portraying Trump as unintelligent. This, to me, defies common sense. How could he be unintelligent and build such a business!

On the other hand, Obama has been a puppet for the powerful people who financed him. He is very articulate but didn't really have what it takes to run a country IMO.
Also, I think Trump is the one who would have - mt
[ In Reply To ..]
more empathy, basic decency, and ability to hammer a nail.

Obama is a real smooth talker but he is a puppet of bad people.

I was just reading these posts down the board and came upon this one...just picking myself up off the floor after laughing so hard at your words...

Trump ability to hammer a nail...oh goodness...he probably wouldn't even know what a hammer and nail is..or basic decency..these words prove that most trump supporters are in denial about his true character or just delusional about who he really is...

Somebody who marries a foreign woman who is more than 30 decades younger than himself has absolutely NO decency to speak of.

One imbecile's opinion means nothing - And from Australia - sm

[ In Reply To ..]
So you have an imbecile's opinion. Millions of people have opinions. Unfortunately the dangerous thing is he has his idiocy printed.

Here's where he misses on so many levels.

All you have to do is replace Trump's name with Obama's name and it has the same meaning.

Personally, millions of people don't care if he "craves power" (insert LMAO icon here). You know why we don't care if he "craves power" (LOL), because he is getting positive outcomes for the people of the country. Who cares if he craves power. I'd rather have a job under someone who "craves power", then I not have a job under someone else who "craved power".

"To be constantly talking and be talked about is all that really matters and there is no value placed on the meanings of words." Again - who cares. That paragraph describes Obama. The difference? President Trump doesn't refer to himself and "me, myself and I" over 100 times in a 20 minute speech. President Trump doesn't take selfie's every hour and post them. President Trump doesn't record his speeches and gives them out as gifts to other countries leaders.

Now this is where he especially shows his stupidity..."In his two-minute long report, Mr Uhlmann said Mr Trump had no desire or capacity to lead the world, leaving the G20 the G19." - Hey buddy, in case you haven't noticed, he is the United States leader, not the "world's" leader. Other countries have their leaders they choose in their elections. We chose President Trump as the United States President/Leader, not the "worlds". So in essence, you have that wrong and President Trump is doing exactly what we elected him to do.

So in summary, some imbecile from another country hates President Trump, doesn't understand politics, and has no decency to keep his stupidity to himself...go figure.
