So the Pubs are all in a feeding frenzy over the thought that Biden agrees with them regarding not appointing a SC justice.

In the context of Biden's 1992 speech, it was made before Congress left on recess in anticipation that there might be judges who would resign at the end of the term. He was simply stating that the process would resume after the recess in a HYPOTHETICAL (ie, what-if scenario) sense.

He went on to say:

In the same remarks, Biden added that if the then-Republican president “consults and cooperates with the Senate, or moderates his selections absent consultation, then his nominees may enjoy my support (Biden's) as did Justices Kennedy and Souter.”

Trump calls people names and puts them down personally, and his followers love it. When challenged, Trump breaks down into a tantrum. The Pubs are in such a frenzy, they will miss an opportunity to get a SCJ both sides can agree on.

I would make logic a mandatory course, and debate team a mandatory activity, in high school. Everyone would learn to think clearly without irrelevancy, and would learn to present and defend a position without insults.

The videos are out there if you care to look them up. There are probably more Democratic Senators that agreed but Schumer and Obama, along with Biden, are 3 top dogs and thus, their opinions carry more weight than most.
