The National Federation of Teachers, which I think we all agree really does need some reforms, did come out big time to resist Romney's 3-birds-with-one-stone plan to cut spending by cutting spending on education, cut taxes by cutting funding for education, and start restoring godliness to the nation (as he saw it) by sending the job of setting basic school standards back home. Teachers are mostly women besides, and between teachers' professional interests and their personal interests, they went heavily for Obama.
So I guess this huge group would be an obvious target for the billionaire Libertarians' club and their water carriers, the tea partiers. As a Dem, I just hope their catering bills, etc., don't really provide their enemies with significant amounts of the sort of ammunition this story claims.
Unions have a superiority complex - think their members owe them.
