Now that Sanders has shown his colors, what do the true believers in his cause - those who refuse his Jonestown command to drink the deadly koolaid - do with their votes?
There's only one outsider candidate left, and it sure isn't Clinton. She sleeps with the Washington/Wall Street cartel, taking them to her bed individually or in groups according to their fancies. All she wants from them is their breakfast order.
On the other hand, there's only one sugar-mommy-gubmint-freebies candidate left, and it sure isn't Trump.
There's only one candidate who's behind the American worker and whose main platform plank is restoring jobs to America, making it painful and difficult for American companies to ship jobs offshore, and stemming the tide of low-income undocumented workers with the disastrous results that have fallen on low-income Americans in their wake.
On the other hand, there's only one candidate who thinks Obamacare has been successful (math was never her strong suit), should be expanded, and even supports a single-payer system - and it isn't Trump.
Never-Trump isn't a strategy, my dear Sandersians, despite your craven leader's "Damascus-road" claim of enlightenment.
Speaking strictly about their platforms and priorities, there are reasons to prefer Trump to Hillary and there are reasons to prefer Hillary to Trump, so for me it comes down to priorities.
On balance, I think that busting up the insider consortium that has our government in a choke-hold and disdains the electorate is the most critical thing that must be done, and I also think we probably don't have many more election cycles to accomplish this before you and I (no matter what party) will be well and truly completely subjugated to their power, which is growing - not diminishing - with every passing year.
I am truly alarmed about the subversion of our political process. As odd as it might seem, if the Sanders "revolution" in the sense of political reform is to remain alive, it will be Trump and certainly not Clinton who will carry it forward.
