Trump supporters attacking Hillary supporters on campus
Posted: Mar 19, 2016
Oh, wait. It's the other way around, isn't it. My bad!
;
Trump supporters just want their jobs back. - They aren't trying to start a political war
[ In Reply To ..]
I support Trump because I am tired of sharing my job with India workers. Hopefully he can bring our jobs back to America where they belong. I have had my home foreclosed on and for awhile I received foodstamps after taking a cut in pay to remain "competitive" with the workers in India. Prior to the India outflow of our jobs I made $30 hourly. Now I barely make just above minimum wage.
Trump could always try to find you a job - in his overseas place
[ In Reply To ..]
China is where he has at least 1 of his businesses, is that a place you're interested in?
I am interested in my job kept in America - aren't you? Or do you prefer going to India?
[ In Reply To ..]
Trump uses the laws put in place by crooked career politicians who have been paid by big business corporations and special interests to further extend wealth by getting work done cheaper in other countries
And by the way, lots of Trump's businesses are right here in the USA and he employs many, many people who live right here. For instance Doral Florida is a place where he has built a vacation resort employing 1000s of Floridians.
You do not become a billionaire doing stupid stuff and you take advantage of laws made by the politicians to benefit big business because big business has funded their campaigns and lifestyle.
I am of an age if my job give out I could retire - so doesn't worry me about
[ In Reply To ..]
jobs out of the country but you see Trump is too faced. He talks about bringing things back but when questioned about his own overseas jobs and also his hiring of illegals to work on his buildings, seems like he tries to skirt around those things. He might be a billionaire but sure different in being business owner and having the sense to run a country. Of all the things I have seen regarding him, the one I absolutely LOVE is when he was standing at the podium talking and someone tried to rush him on stage. Give another look at that and see how BIG he is when he tries to duck and hide behind security. I LOVE that. I am not even sweating his becoming president. The repubs are having many, many behind the door talks trying to get rid of him. I am really surprised that he is still walking around in 1 piece to be truthful. The reason I say this is he is such a hate monger and race baiter that people with a good conscious could never vote for a person like this. As far as you don't become a millionaire doing stupid stuff, can I say the name Bernard Madoff. I rest my case.
Trump tells the truth whether you like it or not - the hate comes from discontent Americans
[ In Reply To ..]
Race baiter? Only if you are a racist can you be baited.
Hate monger? Only if you hate what is going on with the American economy, the corrupt system of government, your job has been outsourced, you are living in a city where there are a lot of illegal immigrants working for cheap wages or you think it is not okay to bring in people into our country (like the Islamic woman terrorist who murdered 14 people) who cannot be vetted properly can you get people to hate.
Trump has taken advantage of the LAWS that were bought and paid for by big business and corporations to protect their interests. Bernie Madoff BROKE THE LAW. If he did not, he would not be in prison.
Speaking of hate, read what you wrote about Donald Trump and it is because of the one-sided media coverage appealing to people who cannot seem to wrap their brains around WHY corporations do not want Trump to rock the established corrupt political system including but not limited to media outlets and the candidates who make mega money in the corrupt establishment.
My city is in the millions and when you quote - about 1 person murdering 14
[ In Reply To ..]
people, that is probably about a week's average for where I live but the only thing is this is usually black on black. I don't see anyone getting out of shape because of that. Once I see that then, and only then, would I think about the minute amount of people that the illegals kill here in the US. As far as that goes, I have several what you call illegal friends, I call them family. Ones have worked for me, others are just friends. They do jobs that whites nor blacks do, i.e. working in the hot sun all day long picking your vegetables and fruits. You cannot get people to do that but the Hispanics will. I have a Hispanic woman working for me now, comes over every other week and cleans my home. I like her work and most of the time you do not have anyone who wants to work.
I would never lower myself to vote for such a hate monger, racist person and I think anyone who does is probably, like Trump himself said, "loves the uneducated."
Fortunately for this country, there are millions - more who feel and vote as you do! :)
What's that you are saying about black on black crime - and no one is getting out of shape?
[ In Reply To ..]
Sounds a bit racist. Crime is crime and is horrendous no matter who commits it but in particular if the person comes into our country with a terrorist agenda or is here illegally.
Sorry but not racist here, mixed family - but when you have these
[ In Reply To ..]
hundreds of murders happening all the time and I hear 1 person did this, does not even come close to what I see every day, every week, every month and year. A black gets shot, killed, the family/community meets, sings a few songs, releases balloons and then it starts all over again. No one does a darn thing or raises hell over that. I am thinking you sound racist, different if illegal. Really?
It never hurts to play the race card - if you cannot win a legit argument
[ In Reply To ..]
I stated my case and made points and all of a sudden I am accused of being a racist? LOL
Do you have the sexist card left to play in case I am a male?
Warren Buffet is a crook and does not care about anyone? - Please!
[ In Reply To ..]
Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, etc are dishonest billionaires and do not care about their workers? Where is this logic coming from? Can you document it?
Look a little closer. They don't really care. - Only about PROFITS.
If they want their jobs back, they're voting - for the wrong person. Trump is -
[ In Reply To ..]
all about PROFITS. And profit is all about getting the work done cheaper offshore.
Trump has a goal and that is to bring jobs back - so people can spend money here
[ In Reply To ..]
It is quite simple. Without money, Trump cannot be as successful. People need money to buy his products. If your job is being shipped to India, do you have money to spend on luxury?
Here is some simple math. My home went into foreclosure because my work was being shipped to India and I had to take a cut in pay. When my house went into foreclosure all the other homes in my neighborhood diminished in value. I could not shop at the neighborhood shops and they lost business. Multiple this by all the people whose jobs have been sent offshore and you will see wny the economy is such a mess.
I would NEVER vote for a politician who has gotten us into this mess by passing laws that protect their contributors interests instead of the middle class workers.
trump could start by bringing his own jobs back - nm
When Trump changes the law allowing work offshored - his jobs will be back in USA
[ In Reply To ..]
In order to remain competitive he needs to keep outsourcing his work. In the meantime he employs 1000s of people, maybe even millions in his USA enterprises.
Sounds like what my mother used to say - That was
[ In Reply To ..]
"Do as I say, not as I do." He can do and say okay but for others he will wave a wand and say poof, it's back. Hehe
Trump sends his shirts and ties to be manufactured in China - per the law corrupt polticians made
[ In Reply To ..]
He does this to remain competitive with other AMERICAN companies who send their products to be manufactured in China. Once the laws are changed to make everyone have their items manufactured in America, everyone will have the same cost basis and Trump will follow those laws. Trump did not create the law. Politicians did, crooked politicians who took money from corporations to create the law so they could outsource.
If you want to be angry, be mad at the politicians who pass the laws beginning with NAFTA.
Do you REALLY think he's going to change the - laws that affect HIS profits?
Some people are addicted to success and Trump - is spending his money to be a successful president
[ In Reply To ..]
He is going to even the playing field and bring jobs back to America where he can prove he can make America greater. In the meantime, his profits manufacturing goods in China is chump change compared to the billions in profits he makes right here in America. And think of the people who are employed by Trump right here at home.
People employed by Trump here, thinking - Got it, the illegals
[ In Reply To ..]
He swears he did not know about, yea right.
How many people are employed by Trump. - Do you think he vets each and everyone?
[ In Reply To ..]
It was a contractor that hired the people. How many people would Trump have to vet to ensure each and everyone was legal. He leaves that to the contractor who hired them.
Do you think Bill Gates vets all the people working for him?
What a strange world that someone would think a person who employs millions of people would go through paperwork to be sure each person working for a contractor he hired was legit. Do you think Trump interviews everyone who works for him?
It's so sad that there are people who believe - all Trump's BS.
I think it is sad that a person believes - the political system is NOT corrupt
[ In Reply To ..]
Who actually would want a career politician whose campaign and lifestyle is funded by special interests and big corporations to sell out the middle class would be a good candidate to continue America's economic decline.
Very sad, especially coming from a MT website whose jobs have been sold out to India. I am thinking Trump hateful propaganda has trumped logic in MTs posting here who want another career politician elected to office.
Some people vote against their own best interests - because theyre afraid to make a stand.
[ In Reply To ..]
They're not the kind who will take a short-term risk in order to fulfill a long-term goal. It's why so many MTs are still MT-ing. It's also why so many of them would rather vote for continuing the government the way it is now, which isn't good, rather than risk a 'scary' change in order to make it better. And then there are those who fall in line with Trump's hatefulness because it somehow makes them feel 'strong'... because he appears 'strong'. It's a sad state of affairs, because they're associating 'stupid' with 'strong'.
Now this is confusing, didn't Trump say - wages are too high?
[ In Reply To ..]
He would not raise the minimum wage. He would probably do away with it completely. That is ultimately the goal of all the right wing supply-siders, that they can enjoy in this country the labor force and costs they enjoy in third world countries.
Have you ever seen the movie "The Campaign" with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis? It is a silly movie, but includes a parody of the Koch Bros basically buying a town and its senator. They want control of the district to build a factory there so they can import low-wage Chinese workers and that will decrease shipping costs for them. Kind of funny, but also kind of scary and kind of true.
If they could pay whatever they want, corporations (including MTSOs) would bring many third world workers over here and turn towns into worker camps like they have in China. It has already started with bogus H1 visas taking away entire classes of high paying jobs so they can pay the immigrants thousands less than the Americans doing the jobs.
That's how they're going to lower costs, NOT by preventing offshoring and giving us our decent jobs back.
As a businessman, I really don't see Trump making it impossible for businesses to exploit third world countries, and even if he did I don't see how that would help workers here at all. Their aim is to cut costs, not raise them, so if they are allowed to pay whatever how are we going to live?
Trump has so little detail on any of his "policies" - it is all bluster and promises to people who want to believe anything he has to say is good for them.
So you think someone who fries burgers for a living - should be paid $15 an hour?
[ In Reply To ..]
Guess who is going to be paying a whole lot more for their fast food - YOU.
People are in business to make money not enable the under-educated. If the cost of doing business raises by increasing the minimum wage, that cost will be passed onto the consumer.
Trump explained how to bring businesses back to America by imposing taxes and tariffs on companies who send work outside of the country to get cheap labor and evade US taxes.
As far as little detail on policies, what details do you have on Hillary's policies to bring jobs back? All I know for sure is Hillary can do a good imitation of a dog and is always shouting. (Poor Bill - I finally get why he cheated on her.)
I certainly think someone who does our job - as an MT should be paid $15/hr
Trump is doing exactly what he is talking against - not doing, that is confusing
[ In Reply To ..]
He has overseas companies and so he himself is evading taxes and using cheap labor. I find it astonishing that he seems to think the rules apply to others and not himself. He would never accept responsibility for what he does, just wants to blame others, like the trouble that seems to follow him now. I like how republicans are now saying they would rather lose and have a third party started (if Dtrump got the nomination) than to have him win. I guess that means Clinton would have on the supreme court the person or persons she wants. What a web the party has gotten tangled in.
That's the Trump problem in a nutshell: He - thinks rules only apply to "others", not
Yes. Because as long as we want to buy a - burger, somebody has to fry them.
[ In Reply To ..]
If you think that work is "easy", try doing it for a day. They earn their pay, and they deserve to be able to live on their wages as much as any of the rest of us do.
