Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders on Friday defended voters of President Trump, saying that the election was Democrats' to lose and that the party needs to better represent the working-class voters who supported Trump and other GOP lawmakers "Some people think that the people who voted for Trump are racists and sexists and homophobes and deplorable folks. I don't agree, because I've been there. Let me tell you something else some of you might not agree with, it wasn't that Donald Trump won the election, it was that the Democratic Party lost the election" ;

is that at this point we are not so much disputing the results of the election as we probably will never know how much the electorate was influenced by all the interference but rather we are concerned about Russia's involvement in trying to influence elections in democracies around the world and whether or not the Trump team helped them do this. Russia is trying to increase it's influence. They are not a "quiet Christian country" as someone said on this board. Russia is ruled by a former KGB agent who has his opponents murdered and jails dissidents. It is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet with a weak economy which is seeks to strengthen by any means.

Russia had nothing to do with any of it. They didn't get Trump elected. They didn't meddle. They did nothing. The agency (no, there are not 17 of them), but the one that has the hard facts came out and said Russia did not have anything to do with the election or hack into the computers. In fact Wikileask even came out and said this. There is no proof...period. The left seems to have lost their minds because the agency who has investigated this and found that Russia had nothing to do with any of it said so, and the loony left just keeps repeating "Russia..." as though nothing was said. This is how nuts the leftist have become. They don't care about facts, they just keep talking as though they are all knowing when they are showing their ignorance towards anything they don't want to hear. It's like listening to a Chatty Cathy doll. You ask it different questions and it keeps repeating the same thing. You tell them different things and they keep repeating the same sentence over and over and over which makes no sense. It used to be that if they accused someone of something they would have to provide proof. In this case they are showing they are insane by repeating a lie over and over and over hoping that if they repeat it enough it will come true.

The electorate cast their votes on how the people of their states voted. They did their job the way they are supposed to. The only thing that influenced their votes was the way the people of their areas voted. It also didn't help the enemies when they would send death threats to the electorates if they didn't vote for Hillary.

Trump has no ties to Russia and Russia had nothing to do with our elections or hacking. The agency here; however, found the cheating that the DNC did. Ever wonder why she was celebrating a "win" before the election was over. Ever wonder why Billy was jumping up and down like a little girl? They thought they got away with stealing the election.

Once again it needs to be repeated Russia had nothing to do with this. Whether or not you like to hear that is beside the point. The truth/facts cannot be changed. If anyone does not like that, then maybe they should tell the agency who did an independent investigation and reported the facts that Russia had nothing to do with this.

In general, anyway. This was a communist country for many many years. Communism and Christianity do not exactly mesh very well, in fact any religion was persecuted under the old Soviet Union.

Their Russian Orthodox is the most popular religion, which is Christian, but still, less than 50%, as opposed to Christianity in the USA, which is 83%.

I knew someone who came from Russia and from what I gathered people would do anything to please the bureaucrats in charge so they could get employed by the govt and get a decent job. This meant religion was not something people were encouraged to do for many many years and probably abandoning it was a survival mechanism.

Interestingly, they are very anti-gay without the evangelic Christian element we have here! Nope, it's their state govt broadcasts that talk down homosexuality there and they have a law (known widely as the gay propaganda law) to promote "traditional family values."

So when this issue is usually cloaked in religion in this country, very interesting (and yet depressing) that their far right over there managed to do it without any religion, just by government being able to denounce gay people publicly and legally. Ugh.

Anyone who has any hint of ties like this needs to be investigated plain and simple. The point is that the president in the white house right this minute should be cleared from any ties, if that is possible.
