They often have full hearings on different investigations. The Benghazi hearing testimony was televised and it wasn't just Panetta, but also Dempsey who threw Obama AND Clinton under the bus.

Once again on the issue of sequestration and military cuts, the GOP's put itself between a rock and a hard place, mostly courtesy of the TP "base," and Panetta's just giving the rock a good solid kick.

He is not talking about the proposed budget cuts, he is talking about cuts that would ensue from automatic sequestration. Horse of a different color.

For those of you who DIDNT watch the fiscal cliff fiasco - Republicans WERE RESPONSIBLE for the downgrade of our credit rating - PER THE MOUTH OF THE STANDARD AND POOR CEO. I watched the interview.

The only way the Republicans would allow the debt ceiling to.be raised, they invented a bipartisan committee that gad to come up with an agreement of cuts. IF this committee dis not come up with this plan, then THE REPUBLICANS PUT THE SEQUESTRATION INTO THE BILL THAT SAID THE CUTS WOULD BEBAUTOMATIC. WELL, that was supposed to happen along with the fiscal cliff;however, they pushed the sequestration cuts off til March.

Now you see John Boehner giving press conferences calling this the "OBAMA SEQUESTRATION" This would be comical if it wasn't so serious.

Our GDP shrunk forbthe FIRST TIME IN 3 YEARS THE LAST QUARTER OF 2012!!!

WHY AND HOW this could happen with a revised jobs report with significant increase in jobs November and December, as well as 152,000 added in January! Also, the housing market sales AND home values are up more.than in 5 YEARS! SO WHY DID OUR GDP SHRINK 0.1%?

BECAUSE OF THE SPENDING CUTS THE REPUBLICANS FORCED IN THE FISCAL CLIFF - PER THE CEO OF MOODY'S!! IF THIS SEQUESTRATION TAKES PLACE - YOU BETTER BE SAVING YOUR $$$$$, AS RECESSION HERE WE COME.
