There is no documentation at all that the DNC did this. And I doubt the likeness would have been approved by Obama or the DNC. I've been searching high and low for the last hour to find this on main stream media, etc., and even the right-wing sites don't say the DNC or Obama did it.
Why do let them suck you in?
indeed. sculpture was placed as promotion for and by - Myrtle Beach, SC

There are lots of National Convention events and activities.
Oh, please....that is NOT real. - (s/m)

How can you even believe this, let alone repeat it and spread it around as if it's a fact.
If this real, I'll eat my hat! :-D (Boy, I haven't heard that expression in years--LOL!)

they believe it because someone tells them to.
Hmmmm, I was right--didn't take too long - to find this.

Apology accepted. :-)
OP: Maybe next time, try to THINK and do a little research before you post something that seems too ridiculous to be true.
And, in case you just look at the photo... - ...and don't read the caption...

...at the bottom, it says this:
"EDITED: Changed heading upon finding out that it is a tourism promotion for Myrtle Beach and neither Obama or the Democratic Party had anything to do with it.
I apologize for the misunderstanding."
yeah, Obama did not build that - bootstraps

pretty embarrassing to have to reach that deep and to what end?
All I can say is, of course he didn't build that. He - never built anything - except debt.

The OP posted a picture that didn't appear to be faked. What I couldn't believe was true was that the Obama campaign had done it as part of the DNC production, which the OP insinuated with the comment that it was "disgusting" and that Obama is the narcissist-in chief. THAT was the part I refused to believe--that it was the work of the campaign.
As a followup, I posted a link to the site I found where someone ELSE on another website had apparently jumped to the same conclusion as the OP and had erroneously posted that this was the work of the Obama campaign, too. The grammar is off, obviously, because they should've used the word "nor" (for the benefit of us grammatically gifted MTs--LOL), but beneath their photo, it says this:
"EDITED: Changed heading upon finding out that it is a tourism promotion for Myrtle Beach and neither Obama or the Democratic Party had anything to do with it. I apologize for the misunderstanding."
So Myrtle Beach welcomes DNC with creative art while - Tampa gives RNC Isaac

with his threat of looming doom. Since when are the cons so critical of American ingenuity and innovative ways to capitalize on the convention by providing a unique tourist attraction while honoring the democratic presidential incumbent? Sour, sour grapes would be my guess.

....strong adjective as "disgusting" and calling Obama a narcissist--well, you must feel pretty proud of yourself.
I don't usually denigrate anyone just because they don't agree with Obama's policies, but the Obama foes need to take a deep breath and think about the truth of their accusations against him before they make them. WWJD is a good question to ask yourself. I don't believe He would do or say some of the things I see posted on this board. Both sides are guilty, perhaps, but there seems to be more venom in the comments against our president.

Replaced Hip, Now PT Forever?Sep 04, 2013A friend's mother had a hip replacement about 2-3 years ago. Now the physician tells her she will have to do physical therapy x2 times a week and said she would need it the rest of her life.
I have never heard of anything like this. The mother is unable to afford extra $$$ per month to go that many times a week and says she can swing maybe twice a month.
Has anyone else heard of forever ongoing PT for a hip replacement? TIA. ...

We Started To Have Some Of Our Bathroom Fixtures Replaced Oct 01, 2016at the house like the drop in vanity sink etc and we had a plumber do all this and they got very good "name brand" sinks, faucets etc. I am amazed at how the quality of a lot of these things has deteriorated compared to the old stuff and how that was made. It just seems like everything today is disposable and this stuff cost a lot of money plus installation. I guess this is the way it is. You do the best you can. Goolsbee Better Get His Head Out Of The Sand, TooMar 08, 2011My question is: What spending cuts are going to "undermine economic growth in the future" as he puts it? So the deficit was caused by the decrease in tax revenue caused by the recession. Well, imagine that! Takes a genius to figure that out.
ARLINGTON, Va. (CNNMoney) -- Cutting spending is not the best way to curb the federal government's long-term deficit, a top White House official told a conference of leading economists Tuesday.

How Is Greek Yogurt Different From Homemade Yogurt?Jan 23, 2013For years I thought I didn't like yogurt, then I found this 0% fat Greek yogurt. It is great mixed with hot foods, as a sour cream substitute, and even to eat straight. I guess I just didn't like all the artificial flavors in other commercial yogurts.
Back in the 1970s people made their own yogurt all the time. I thought I might give it a shot, but how is Greek yogurt different from homemade yogurt?
I'd appreciate any info on this. I plan to make it a big ...
