First of all, may I point out that IF that were true, then wouldn't Obama be AGAINST gay marriage?

Secondly, that is the most chopped up video I've ever seen in my life lol. It was almost like one of those rap videos someone made making it look like he was rapping to a popular rap song. (It also didn't count the numerous times he's quoted our own bible).

And he's right, historically, we do owe our number symbols and algebraic formula to Muslims, and even before them, Babylonians and Persians. In fact, our own passage in the bible, "an eye for an eye" we borrowed from Hammurabi's code in Babylonian law, it wasn't ours.

So, he quoted the Qu'ran? And? It's nearly identical to our bible up until Hagar is pushed out by Sarah, Anyone who has taken Comparative Religion or who has prepared for philosophy, theology or divinity degrees from a major university has read all these "sacred" texts for comparison and contrast. Just because a certain wisdom can be gleaned from a text doesn't make you a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist or anything else.

As you know, I'm no longer an Obama fan, but c'mon. That's just whack. Now, I know some people really believe this really out-there stuff, but all of this, including the OP, seems so fake or obviously chopped mid-sentence, it proves nothing. I can't believe anyone falls for this crap.

Seriously, let's not be so gullible, guys. We need to view our media critically, realizing that whole interviews are rarely shown and words are often taken out of context by the media.

Not to this degree, but this even happened to Sarah Palin in 2008 on ABC in the now infamous "See Russia from my house" interview.

Sarah Palin scares me in so many ways, and she's not very bright, but this one really wasn't a fair take on that. Not only did she not say that exactly, but she was clipped mid-sentence.

I have watched all versions of this interview and it was very clear the clip is spliced mid-sentence, cutting to Charles Gibson.

As hard as it is to ever give benefit of the doubt to Sarah Palin, in this clip, it's the fair thing to do. I can only assume the end of her point was that living in such geographical proximity to Russia, sharing sea and airspace, it might give them a bit more insight into Russian military activity.

Clearly this type propaganda shows how desperate and gullible many conservatives are. So what if Obama can speak to many different types of people in a language they understand? Have you seen Obama in front of a group that is largely non Caucasian? Mums the word, but the POTUS can seem downright at home speaking to many different audiences, and we wouldn't want that to hurt his reelection chances.... Oh, right.... it didn't.
