Guess he got his widdoo feewings hawt. Can you imagine if he had been asked real questions for the past 5 years. He'd be in a loony bin. LOL

believe me, it was tough to do. As he was speaking, I was making notes. Some are serious questions, some are sarcastic remarks and some are reality.

1. Is he lying again? Argument???? Americans died (no kidding!). Wow! He acknowledges they were not adequately protected!!!!! THAT's a first!!!!

2. Did he say it was an Act of Terrorism the day after it happened??? I don't remember, does anyone else?

3. They've been "trying to figure out what happened" since then? At least he acknowledges seeing the attacks happening prior to 9/11/12.

4. The committee he put together discovered some harsh judgments on protection recommendations....and they're being implemented?? Anyone know anything about that? I haven't heard anything.

5. He calls the investigation a side show? AMERICANS DIED!!! I don't call that a side show. Now he’s spoke about the film again? Is he still trying to blame the film and the poor guy that’s still in jail because of it?

6. "The emails were provided and nothing was found afoul of the process"??? They're still holding emails that the committee investigating this has been trying to get released to them since SEPT. When will they release all the requested documents?

7. “Suddenly, 3 days ago, this gets spun up as if there’s something new to the story” ???? No, Obama…still trying to get to the bottom of it since SEPTEMBER. Maybe you’re not a mathematician, but 3 days does not equal the beginning of 8 months trying to get to the bottom.

9. They called it an act of terrorism 3 days AFTER Susan Rice’s talking points on all the networks? Thought it was more like a week or two later. You didn’t try to "tamp things down for 3 days". Try 3 weeks?

10. Yes, President Obama, the whole thing DOES “defy logic” on YOUR part. It’s unbelievable that YOU, of all people, should be in some type of dream world believing the lies you, Hillary, and whoever wrote those talking points….and if people are challenging Susan Rice’s integrity, why was she “demoted” and you no longer see her around? I can’t believe he still believes this is a political ploy. What a dunce!

11. “We don’t have time to be playing these political games here in Washington.” Ahem….that’s all your administration has been doing since 2008. Is all of D.C. now involved in protecting the citizens in other countries? Isn’t that a bit of a stretch? I thought there were different departments for keeping Americans safe around the globe. Whew! Whatta project! No wonder this administration is getting anything done.

he did say "it was an act of terror." As far as I can remember, he only said it that once. IMO, and I have said it from the beginning, this statement was planned by him, knowing that lies and falsehoods were to follow for days, weeks, even months. - for the specific purpose of being able to say, "I said it was an act of terrorism." If I'm right, this is one of the most malevolant things he has ever done.

Sept. 12 - Obama delivers a morning speech in the Rose Garden to address the deaths of U.S. diplomats in Libya. He said, “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.” He also makes reference to the anti-Muslim video when he says: “Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None.” He uses the term “act of terror” later that night when talking about the attack at a campaign event in Las Vegas.

After his Rose Garden speech, Obama tapes an interview for “60 Minutes.” Obama says he didn’t use the word “terrorism” in his Rose Garden speech because “it’s too early to know exactly how this came about.” Steve Kroft, the show’s host, wonders how the attack could be described as a “mob action” since the attackers were “very heavily armed.” Obama says “we’re still investigating,” but he suspects “folks involved in this . . . were looking to target Americans from the start.”

Matt Olsen, director of the National Counterterrorism Center, was the first administration official to call it “a terrorist attack” during a Sept. 19 congressional hearing. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did the same on Sept. 20. Even so, Obama declined opportunities to call it a terrorist attack when asked at a town hall meeting on Sept. 20 and during a taping of “The View” on Sept. 24.

Sept. 27: The White House spokesman is asked yet again why the president has refused to call the incident a terrorist attack. “The president’s position is that this was a terrorist attack,” Carney says.

Some say that by using the phrase "acts of terror," he was calling it a terrorist act, but some argue that he did not call it a terrorist attack until much, much later. You can reach your own conclusions.

I could be wrong, but I think the problem is with Obama now saying that he came out immediately and called it a terrorist attack when he didn't. I don't think anyone has a problem with making sure all info is correct (at least I don't), but once you've made the decision to do that, you can't go back and rewrite what happened. But like I said in my post, everyone has their own interpretation of what he meant in his speech by "acts of terror."

Hindsight is 20/20. At the time of Benghazi, there were multiple protests in the Islamic world over the film, in Cairo, etc. So it was quite a natural guess that the attack was related to that before more intelligence became available. There's too much forcing by the media for -immediate- answers. Haste does make waste.
