A few weeks ago I was playing a set of five numbers on the PA Cash 5 lottery. I have not played them now for several days. Last night all five numbers came in. Nobody won. I am in shock right now. The jackpot for tonight is $950,000. It will take me a day or to to recover.

I was at the grocery store and saw the jackpot for cash 5 in PA... and played for tonight... I just do a random pick....Maybe you\'ll be lucky!!

Thanks. I'm serious. I am numb. When I checked the numbers on the internet this morning all I could say was "oh, no" over and over. I called my sister and woke her with the news. I used family birthdays. Good luck. It's a big one.

I'm sorry you are feeling bad.

My brother won $77,000 once on a scratch-off ticket. His life unraveled and he lost his wife and kids in a matter of months. That was about 16 years ago and he has only gone downhill since. In tough times it might seem like it would solve all of your problems, but for many people, winning the lottery is a curse. Instead of feeling like you have lost out on a huge jackpot, maybe you should consider that you could have just missed out on a huge amount of heartache.

I never play the lottery. I try and be thankful for what I have, and I feel like playing the lottery would cause me to be dissatisfied and unthankful.

I am sorry about your brother. I have heard many stories like that on TV. However, there are many people in my life and in my family who really are in need. Also, I want to donate to help animals. It is what I want my life to be about. My sister needs help and it would just be everything to do some good. I do appreciate your comments, and I understand what you are saying. It will take a few days and I'll be back to myself again.

can you explain what happened with your brother and family? - did he/wife fight over how to spend it?

I know there is nothing anyone can do about the problem, but please allow me to just vent. I live in a neighborhood where the homes are very close together. I talked to my PM today about never having any work, she said she would reset my profile because I only have about half of her accounts and I'm running out of work halfway through my shift for months now and she said she would reset but I'm OOW again and I reminded her to fix it and she still hasn't done it.
