Lois Lerner is retiring. How convenient for her!

Why should she be allowed to reitre? She should be FIRED. Because of the IRS scandal, she'll be walking away from this scandal and will probably be getting a nice pension since she worked for the government for what, 26 years? So all us taxpayers will be paying for her to break the law for years to come.
As another perk, she's still young enough to get another government job via local, county, or state, building another tidy pension thanks to we, the taxpayers.
Don't forget, too, that she'll also be able to collect Social Security. Nice, huh?
There should be a law that if someone is put on paid administrative leave during an investigation and that person refuses to testify and/or uses the 5th Amendment to cover themselves from being charged with a crime or perjury against the people, then their pension gets distributed to either Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security to cover the harm that may be done by their actions.
