Impeach Obama? DNC Raises Fear In New Email

Posted: May 25, 2014

Before the fur starts to fly, yes, I know this is five months old, but I do not believe this particular article has been posted here before. I just heard this woman on the radio for the first time the other day and rather like what I heard. Her website has a wealth of information.

Another reason to vote out the Republicans - Thanks

[ In Reply To ..]
Those republican bozos need to be voted out. Too many lazy, tax-freeloaders on the Republican side of the aisle. Is Michelle Bachmann still under investigation?

What is your "reason"? - It is not clear from your post.

"Another reason to vote out the Republicans"

Just what is that reason"?

The post very clearly states.............. - Seriously

"Too many lazy, tax-freeloaders on the Republican side of the aisle."

If this person is referring to the practice of overseas tax havens for politicians, then I agree (but that goes for both parties). Speaking for myself, I would like to add that the best reason in my opinion to vote Republicans out of office is their severe case of cognitive dissonance. Meaning: The reality they wished existed doesnât; therefore, theyâve simply created an alternate reality where their rhetoric makes sense.

Where:

Youâre fiscally conservativeâall the while you are running up massive deficits (8 years of a President who signed bills into law yet vetoed only 12..... total).

Youâre for smaller government that doesn't interfere into people's affairs-âexcept all those instances you want government to support your end of the argument.

Youâre a patriotâall the while screaming for secession and revolution whenever the Constitution doesnât happen to actually support your ideology.

Youâre for the Constitutionâyet that same Constitution rarely supports your policies and needs to be rewritten to accomplish your goal de jour (impeachment, etc.)

Youâre against the government shutdownâeven though many members of your party had been calling for one and wrote a memo on how it would be accomplished.

Youâre against government programsâwhile living off government programs and writing letters for your constituents to benefit from same said programs you oppose (e.g., Paul Ryan).

Youâre against people on welfareâmeanwhile you live in a red state that actually takes in more federal dollars than it actually pays out (the majority actually are, with a few exceptions).

The list goes on. The absolute hypocrisy is, well, silly season.

So, yes, cognitive dissonance is the best reason in my opinion.
Thank you for responding. - However,

That is a very good reason to vote ALL Republican - this next election

[ In Reply To ..]
We need to get politicians who will work towards helping the country. It's not happening with the dems. In my whole life (which is more moons than I want to remember) democrats have never worked for the people and the middle income become more poor under dem regime.

Go GOP! So far so good. I can hear Paul McCartney's song right now - "It's going to be a great day".

McCartney Supported Obama in 2012.......Great Day, Good Times - Believe It

[ In Reply To ..]
Yes, I believe Mr. McCartney agreed it was a very, very good day on November 6 when Obama was reelected........... most likely due to the fact that Paul McCartney actually formally endorsed Barack Obama's reelection.

So what. The song was not written about Obama. It's going to be a Great day - when the republicans win this fall

[ In Reply To ..]
The song was written and released on an album in 1997. Obama was the last thing from his mind when it was written. It's a good song. Good tune. Good Lyrics and makes me feel happy. Gives me hope that things will get better. You do know that not everything in this world is about Obama, don't you.

I'm talking about the song and the Lyrics to the song. That's what I'm going to be singing this fall when the republicans win.

I could care less who Paul McCartney supported. Kim Jung Un also supports Obama. And I really don't care. Just like I could care less who Kim Kardashian or any other Hollyweird personality supports no matter what party they support. There are many famous people who just don't understand politics/issues.

So come this fall when republicans win I will be singing - When your wide awake, say it for goodness sake, it's gonna be a great day.

This is laughable. - sm

Who cares who supported whom? This is part of the problem in American culture. A lot of people cannot think for themselves and think that because So and So supports this one, I will support them, too. Maybe this is why some people are called Sheeple?? God help us.
I Get It - Seriously
[ In Reply To ..]
I believe the point of the post you are laughing at was to point out that although someone would be attaching Paul McCartney's music to what they would perceive to be a good day that the man himself would disagree with that sentiment and probably wouldn't want his music in any way associated with it.

If you watch certain news channels or listen to certain radio personalities or listen and learn and repeat what any newsperson or politician or celebrity or supporter has to say (and we all do it), then you care who supports whom. If we didn't care, they wouldn't have spokespersons or endorsements or news anchors or shock jocks.

It's easy to say I don't care what a celebrity thinks, but then you'd have to discount anything and everything that Ronald Reagan ever said.

Opinions and perspectives are not formed in a vacuum. If we're living and breathing and paying attention, no one thinks completely for themselves. We can pretend our opinions are not shaped by others and that we can think for ourselves, but then the only person we'd be actually be fooling would be ourselves.
If you feel the need to interpret me, go for it. - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
I'm rather intrigued by it. However, I stand by MY words.
Not Meant to Be Personal - Seriously
[ In Reply To ..]
It wasn't about you personally. It was about everybody. Everything we experience and see and hear, regardless of the person who said it, goes into the forming of our opinions and makes up who we are. I find generally people only call other people "laughable" and toss out terms like "Sheeple" and "God help us" when that other person doesn't agree with our opinion or our perspective.

God did help us. He gave us all a brain to think for ourselves, and we often disagree.... but opinions are certainly not formed from nothing. Not one of us is forming their opinions out of thin air.

Jesus referred to His people as His flock and His sheep. Sheep, sheeple, call someone what you will, but my point is that we're all following somebody, even if we don't acknowledge it.
My opinions are formed by the words and - sm

deeds of the Republicans.

That is the sole reason I want to see them voted out of office.
Funny that's the same reason I want to see the - Dems voted out of office
[ In Reply To ..]
By their own words and actions and voting records they need to go. And some of them need some serious psychiatric counseling.
You don't know if he would disagree with them because - sm

There might be a better candidate that McCartney would support.

Unless your sitting with McCartney at the dinner table every night then it is not wise for you to presume to know who someone else supports.
Good point! - nm

under the Republican House, the middle class has just about vanished.

We're becoming a country of the very rich and the very poor. And that's the way the Republicans want it.

No, under a democrat congtress the middle class - has vanished. Always does

[ In Reply To ..]
Republicans are not perfect by far, but neither are democrats. Always end up poor under democrat rule.

I think with the "cover up" of the Libya incident that seems to indicate the White House was well aware of the potential for disaster, and not taking action to protect our embassy personnel in Libya, Obama should be impeached if they do find out that this was indeed fact. If that had happened here in NYC there would be hell to pay...why shouldn't our embassy personnel have that same kind of reaction if a terrorist attack happens on foreign soil where we have Americans? I hope THIS puts the ...

Barack Obama Raises Pressure On GhaddafiMar 08, 2011
As No-Fly Zone Gains Support. Sounds like Obama is getting his way.  Barack Obama stepped up pressure on Colonel Gaddafi, saying the US and Nato allies were considering a military response to violence inLibya, with the list of options including arming the rebels. Obama's remarks came as Britain and France made progress in drafting a resolution at the UN calling for a no-fly zone triggered by specific conditions, rather than timelines. Downing Street is hopeful that a resolution with ...

Republicans Fear Sequester Gives President Obama Advantage.Mar 04, 2013
By: Jake Sherman and Jonathan AllenFebruary 27, 2013 11:31 PM EST It’s not only the size of the sequester that has House Republicans fretting. It’s not like the GOP expects the stock market to plummet or furloughs across the federal government to drive up unemployment.
