The number of illegals has dropped 1 million since "slow jam" obama has been in office. They must be self-extracting or whatever that phase Mitt used. If this fact does not support your view of Mr President as hopelessly inept, please feel free to disregard the fact.

I'm not quite sure where you are going with this post. Do you think we should just tear down the fences and let anyone walk in? I personally believe there should be a limited entry-to-work policy, but no wide-open doors, thankyouverymuch.

You think it's Obama's fault that fewer illegal immigrants are crossing the border and/or returning home? I suppose you think he brought on this entire cluster**** of an economy all by himself too? Did it occur to you that there are far fewer jobs for ANYone, let alone illegal immigrants and maybe that is why they are going home?

Personally, I'm fed up with all politicians right now, so don't think this is a liberal defense of Obama or anyone else. Why everyone seems to think we are going to pull out of this mess overnight is beyond me.

Big corporations, Wall Street, and politicians on both sides brought this on. Until we get that mess cleaned up, it will must be more of the same, no matter who is in office.

As for the illegals leaving, well, don't let the door hit you on the hiney on the way out. Get a work visa, and I'll welcome you back in.

beanie trey - the illegals are leaving because many states are now enforcing e-verify and are not giving out assistance any longer - there are at least 5-6 states doing that. They are leaving AZ in droves and I am hoping after today's Supreme Court hearing that they will leave in even bigger droves. Obama has nothing to do with it, he'd give them all amnesty if it would get him reelected. States are finally standing up to do what the feds won't...they have "grown a pair" so to speak.

I like the OP however because republicans are trying to twist the facts and blame democrats for all of it, immigration situation, economic situation, and that burns me because the ignorant believe this nonsense. I blame all of them, democrats and republicans alike. I do have one caveat, however. I truly feel that a lot more could have been done to help this economy along if the republicans had not stalled almost every single thing that Obama wanted to do simply to stop him from having a second term.
