I know you don't believe in polls but this

Posted: May 4, 2017

As people are seeing what would happen if the ACA is gone things seem to be changing on both sides.

;

No I do not believe in polls, in particular - left-leaning CBS who is so biased anti-Trump

[ In Reply To ..]
Anyone who still believes polls are accurate weren't paying attention to the polls that projected Hillary Clinton as indisputable next president.

Polls are biased BS created to sway people who may not think for themselves and follow what they perceive to be the crowd.

Not really but I've heard people who are - getting scared about

[ In Reply To ..]
this new plan. It's one of those you don't know what you had until you lose it.

As far as Hillary, which you continue to bring up, her numbers were up and then the bombshell that never happened came up just before the election and swayed a lot of people, believe it or not.

Hillary is proof polls are not accurate - which I do not "continue to bring up"

[ In Reply To ..]
The "bombshell" is of her own making. It was not Comey who told Hillary she could have a private server when she was secretary of state getting classified information. If the bombshell is WikiLeaks, no one within DNC or Hillary's associates denied anything was untrue. So the bombshell was of her and her associates own making, someone just exposed it.

I have no idea what is in the new plan and I doubt survey takers know either. Do you?

My theory is polls are biased depending on who is conducting them and/or paying for them and the purpose of polls is to influence people to think the way the alleged majority of people think.

Polls never swayed me and I think they are a waste of time. Poll stats depends on what questions are asked, how they are asked and who they are asking. So they can be cherry-picked with the specific intention of influencing sheep-type people.
Believe what you want. This plan is bad and - many are seeing it.
[ In Reply To ..]
It will be a disaster for many from what we do know about it.
What do you know about the plan? - How can you predict disaster without specifics
[ In Reply To ..]
My health insurance went up without me visiting the doctor but once a year for routine visit, so I guess I can say I have a mini-disaster of unexpected expense with Obamacare rules and regulations.

As for Trump's plan, if you have a link to specifics in the plan that you think is leading to disaster, post it please.
I don't know, outlines of it are everywhere. - Find it and read it.
[ In Reply To ..]
You'll call my source biased so find it yourself.
Your source is a poll. I want to know - what is in the plan?
[ In Reply To ..]
I certainly am not going to find a source to prove your point. I just wanted to know what YOU know about the plan and where you found official specifics of it.
I said outlines of the plan is everywhere, - find it yourself.
[ In Reply To ..]
I didn't ask you to find a poll.
If based on outlines of the plan is available - please post it. I have already read your poll
[ In Reply To ..]
I think you are trying to scare people with a poll that is meaningless without specifics of the plan.
Here is one - Sm

What are the specifics in the plan? - This is nothing but conjecture
[ In Reply To ..]
Thanks for trying but I still cannot understand how people are afraid of something that is not documented.
How's this, the senate is saying that it needs - lots of work and are
[ In Reply To ..]
thinking of scrapping it and making their own version? The outlines I have seen are pretty scary. Maybe you could read a bunch of outlines of it and make your own assumption. Frankly, everything I have seen sound pretty scary unless you are wealthy.
Trick question, there are no specifics - That is the point, no?

The appalling spectacle of the sausage party in the Rose Garden with a bunch of old men cackling about taking healthcare away from millions will be remembered by those affected (hint: EVERYBODY!).

Ryan et al would not allow CBO scrutiny and predictions for the very purpose of, what you don't know can help us win even though we are taking away everyone's health care and giving ourselves a big fat tax break.

I'm afraid plausible deniability will not help those Republicans in purple districts: "Well, we didn't know this would happen!" "Well, why the heck did you vote for it then?"

Ironic that now that Obamacare is being taken away, it has become more popular than ever by people who finally realize the difference in their lives, Republican or Democrat. Sad that a real illness in the family is the only thing that can wake people up sometimes and stop the whiny selfishness.

Lemme tell you, this terrible bill will not share the same fate. Once people find out, slowly and painfully, what is in it they will wonder how on earth their representatives could have voted for something which actually deprives people of health care and is for many a death sentence (answer, as always, is cha-ching).

When Ryan was the biggest complainer of Obamacare's process (a heck of a lot more scrutiny and actual debate and incorporation of ideas than this piece of garbage), now he is the one perpetrating the secrecy and disallowing any scrutiny at all.

The Senate will try to spruce it up a bit but let's face it, it is a real turd and polishing it will not help.

I hope the states which will be affected the most (those who ALL voted Trump, suhprise suhprise) take off the blinders in time for the midterm election.
I hope the whole thing implodes and - Medicare for All

becomes a reality.
As many of us knew all - along, the republicans

are and have been all about taking away what Obama did, no matter what it costs the citizens of this country. For many of them, during Obama's term, their goal in office was to fight Obama on anything he wanted. It didn't matter if it was a good thing or a bad thing.

Trump has such a hate toward Obama and that is his only goal too. Maybe not all his goal but a good part of it. The other part of his goal is to reap all the rewards he can for he and his family while in office.

We have seen as bits and pieces of this plan are exposed, it will benefit the wealthy and businesses while screwing the people who need the coverage most.

They blew this thing through so fast because they didn't want people to really grasp what it is and are so vague about what it includes. They left no time for experts to analyze what it will do to the citizens or the costs of it.

I know all Trump supporters/republicans are not stupid and am hoping they jump on board and get on the phone and call their representatives and tell them this is not what they want. I know there are many who do not care what they do as long as it is taking away everything Obama did, but those that are questioning what Trump and the pubs are doing need to join the fight against this ridiculous plan.

I voted for Obama and the democrats but didn't agree with everything they did and let them know when I felt they were wrong. You can support trump but don't have to agree with everything this man and the republicans are doing and hopefully you will fight this too. This is one of those times you need to speak out because you will be hurt by this.
Health ins is not rated like car insurance - not individual use!
[ In Reply To ..]
except in the old days where they would just deny renewal and you could not find coverage anywhere...which may become the new reality with Trumpcare.

This is interesting too - sm

The house just voted 229- 0 to exempt themselves from the heathcare bill. Shows me 2 things
1. They know how bad it is
2. They, as usual think they are better than all of us. Throw them out of office and then they are in the same boat as we are.

POLLS POLLS AND MORE POLLSMay 11, 2014
The breakdown is hard to follow here, but it's one of the polls in favor of keeping OCARE and/or improving it. Predictably it runs along partisan lines - 6 in 10 Repubs with a thumbsdown. The polls will go back in forth I'm sure but a firm majority say keep it or improve it and I  see that majority growing as time goes on. ...

French Far Right Looks For Gains In Regional PollsMar 22, 2015
France's National Front, one of the most powerful populist far right parties in Europe, eyed significant gains against President Francois Hollande's ruling socialists in regional elections Sunday. The elections' first round got under way at 8:00 am (0700 GMT) across 101 "departments", which control issues such as school and welfare budgets. For the National Front, Sunday was a chance to punish the Socialists and get up a head of steam for presidential elections in 2017 that ...
