Its funny how gas prices here kept going down right after that second debate. The next day they were 3.52, the day after that 3.39, and today it's 3.29/gal.;

Somehow we keep moving along. Hard to believe or not, our rackety two-party democratic system has been a model many nations have striven to achieve. :) A dem.

You are exactly right. He is a sneaky Kenyan Muslim communist. Do you know his brother George who lives in Kenya does not agree with his beliefs? Obama is an anticolonialist. He was raised by his Communist mother and loved his father's anticolonialist views. His mother introduced him to Frank Marshall Davis (a card-carying Communist). He was Obama's mentor while he was groing up. He doesnt have the same values that our Country was founded on. But the opposite. And he talks out of both sides of his mouth, that's why these people are fooled by him. I wish these people would wake up they are bringing us down.

I believe I took a wrong turn and ended up in the 19th century.
Colonialism is the practice of making colonies of other lands. It's in the name actually. For instance, to be American is to be anti-colonial. We were a colony of Britain. This did not sit well with our forefathers and now we are an independent nation. So to accuse Obama of anti-colonialism as an insult, would imply that you are pro-colonialism unless I'm mistaken? Which in turn would mean that you would like to either re-establish the European authority over the cultures of Africa, or in a modern twist, believe that America should in fact be running colonies of its own.
Jabba, please clarify, do you support taking the freedom of others and using their land and resources for our own, or were you simply advocating a return to European oppression? Just curious.
Oh geesh. Do some research. The president - has no control over SM

Im sorry gas prices are so high in Oregon and Washington State. Hey I lived in Spokane for a while, what impressed me the most was the straight lines on the streets and no stop signs.
Anyway, we have plenty of oil right here in the United States. The special interest groups and the libs are the ones keeping us from becoming energy independent. We must vote the Senate back to being Republican again like we did the House,so we can get America back to normal common sense and of course fix the problems that got us into Obamaville in the first place.

...that American oil is traded on the free market, just like the oil from the rest of the world. So it would not necessarily make us more oil independent. I
UNLESS you are advocating some kind of Socialism, where the government would take over the U.S. oil interests. But a capitalist would NEVER EVER advocate such a thing, right?
It's the rich oil "speculators" that are responsible - for high gas prices. NM

Romney Would Index SS Benefit To Prices Rather ThanSep 22, 2012Here's short explanation (if you stick to the summary at the top) of the effects of the various ways we can handle SS benefit increases. It really seems like our choice is to either
1. Accept lower and lower payments over the years, indexed to prices (Republican plan), or
2. Increase our SS tax paid with each paycheck now (7.5%+ us and 7.5%+ employer) and get benefits that keep pace with general income levels over the years, indexed to wages (the way we've been doing it).

Syria: Oil Prices Vs Wall StreetAug 29, 2013That September drop you were expecting for gasoline prices? Don't hold your breath.
Currently, gasoline averages $3.55 a gallon nationally, down from $3.63 a month ago.
Most analysts had expected a drop to about $3.40 by early fall on seasonal demand slumping following the summer driving season.
Not now. Some forecasters predict a short-term spike of up to 10 cents a gallon. Crude oil prices and gas futures are soaring on growing fears that if the U.S. military strikes at Syria for its h ...
Get Ready For Restaurants To Increase Prices. Apr 09, 2017about to come into effect, and it could sink pizza franchises nationwide.
