FLASHBACK: Biden: "We'll be creating 250,000-500,000 jobs per month.."

Posted: May 7, 2011

April 23, 2010, Joe Biden declares, "We'll be creating 250,000 to 500,000 jobs per month."

YET MORE LIES from this administration.  What a SHOCK!! <sarcasm off>

We're not there yet, but we're doing a lot better than I ever thought we would be - Realistic Expectations

Our economy has undergone shock at several different levels. I honestly pretty much lost hope and thought our country would go under. I'm very thankful that it didn't happen that way and we are making some small progress on the way back.

You're a Dreamer! Unemployment is at 9.0% - PragmaticRealist

[ In Reply To ..]
How can you say that?! The unployment rate is at a STAGGERING 9.0%, and that's the GOVERNMENT figure so isn't even accurate according to labor analysts.

The BOTTOM LINE is that this adminstration is BUSTED for LYING yet again! If this had been the Bush administration the libbies would have been all over it!

Obviously you're seeing things through rose-colored glasses. An Obama supporter, no doubt.

unemployment rate - a1typist

[ In Reply To ..]
In Nevada, shameful home of Harry Reid, the unemployment rate is a whopping 14%!

With McCain/Palin, unemployment would be back to 4 percent right now!!!! - me

[ In Reply To ..]
Yeah, right. And I've got a bridge to sell you.

They sure didn't inspire confidence with their economics savvy.

WHAT? Obama created a bigger mess, which is - why things are stagnant.. get real.nm

with someone else in the WH. IMO, both parties are to blame for not doing what needs to be done. They are beholden to the corporations. It is a nice change, though, to have someone intelligent in the WH.
I agree that it's refreshing having someone smarter than I am as President - sm

George W. Bush is fine for a regular person. He just wasn't up to the level that he needed to be for the job of President. At first I thought President Obama was too 'academic' to make a good President. I've changed my mind. He is highly intelligent and he also isn't afraid to listen to advisers who know more about a situation than he does. He won't be perfect. No President is. The intelligence is refreshing though.

I'd like to know what happened to the same exact thing they said before - election - oh wait

[ In Reply To ..]
It's election time. I forgot. Promises just to get elected, then all is forgotten.

I'm encouraged from what I've seen seeing recently - Happy with President Obama

[ In Reply To ..]
We've had the worst of times, but now I can see some improvement.

Cant create jobs when there are no companies - Backwards Typist

[ In Reply To ..]
left to create the jobs. I think his estimate was way overblown. For the smaller companies that don't outsource overseas, they're hanging in there but not as well as they used to.

The Made in America series that Diane Sawyer reported about has made a lot of people think. I didn't look around my place to see if everything was made in America because most of my furniture and other stuff is from the 70s-early 80s LOL. Clothing is a different story. I can't find much made in America. Those manufacturing jobs were the first to close up shop with the first NAFTA. Hate it. They were the main employers in my part of the country.

I refuse to buy food from China and Mexico. I try to buy locally. I caused a scene in a grocery store one day because I noticed peppers I thought were from CA turned out to be from Mexico and made them void that sale, but I notice I'm waging a 1-person war against imports in this area.
