Obama 2011: We can get $1.2 trillion in revenues without raising tax rates "This video of Obama in 2011 is making the rounds online. In it he argues that up to $1.2 trillion in revenues could be raised by closing loopholes and limiting deductions in the tax code. More importantly, he signals that it can all be done without raising tax rates. "That’s a far cry from the proposals he is putting out after his re-election." http://washingtonexaminer.com/obama-2011-we-can-get-1.2-trillion-in-revenues-without-raising-tax-rates/article/2515136#.UL-Hi-TpFsJ ;

I've noticed this happening quite a few times. The Republicans or Independent would propose a bill, Democrats vote against it or Obama says he'll veto it, then Obama comes out with the same plan, only a word or two different.

That is pretty pathetic - The Sarge

I guess they think the same thing sounds better coming from them.

Republicans are pathetic since they turned it down - voter

As usual, here is the entire speech not just the sound byte. This was regarding the debt ceiling 16-17 months ago when the Republicans caused the US to have a lowered credit rating. Obama made an offer (that includes revenue and expenditure cuts) and yup, the Pubs turned it down.

By the way, Obama won the election and the voters have spoken.
Democrats are pathetic for proprosing - what the republicans did and

and pretending its their idea.

By the way, was anything in her message talking about votes? Here, all answer that one. No.

This is the norm of the pathetic democrats. Strike down a proposal the republicans come up with, then later propose the same exact thing. Oh sure there are stupid people out there who will believe they came up with the same idea themselves AND agree with it, but disagreed with republicans proposed it.

By the way, you do know there was complete voter fraud don't you? The voters have not spoken. The voters didn't have a say when their vote for Ronney through the machines went to Obama. The military didn't have a say when their votes were dumped in the trash. The other voters that voted but their votes got dumped didn't have a say. So please spare me.
Exactly when and what did the TP propose? - link please. Voter

By the way, was there anything in her message about voter fraud? She would have had to have talked about the suppression and Romney's son owning the Ohio voting machines.. so I guess not.
Can you link me to those fraud claims? - thanks

I believe, was yesterday when Mitch McConnell brought his own bill to the floor and then filibustered it.

But Republicans have been doing the deeds and then go ahead and still blame Obama.

I can look around me and see that things are getting better. I don't think that makes the Republicans very happy because the Republicans don't want this country to succeed.

I believe they have other plans to make sure that 98% receive no sort of help of any kind.

Romney proved that over and over in his campaign: that he doesn't really care about, as he said, "47%" of Americans.
Republicans caused the lower credit rating? - That's all on Obama... the insane spender !!!

Yes, Pubs caused the lower credit rating - old and burned out

When you refuse to raise the debt ceiling you are announcing that the US of A will not be able to meet it financial obligations (e.g.interest on the debt). That is what lowered the credit rating, not Obama.
And BTW - old and burned out

The budget deficit is smaller under Obama than it was under W.

Please be more specific - voter

Yes, it does seem that at times the Pubs will have some good idea, like health care, or immigration. Then the Democrats agree to go for it, and then the Republicans change their minds. So I agree with you partially.

Yes, funny just how routinely the GOP came to "agree" with Dems - then break their agreements. Just

another modus operandi in their little pack of tricks for making sure the nation's business didn't get taken care of.

Please remember that when scoundrels claim Obama refused to compromise. - They should have accepted. nm

Flashback: Carter And Democrats Asked The Soviets To StopJul 27, 2016
Remember the old conservative charge that many of the Democrats here in America were playing footsie with the Soviets? Some Republicans even said the Russians viewed the Democrats as their favorite party. Now bombshell revelations prove these accusations beyond a shadow of a doubt. Peter Schweizer, a Hoover Institution research fellow, has just written a new book, "Reagan's War: The Epic Story of His Forty-Year Struggle and Final Triumph Over Communism." Flashback: Clinton White House Turned Off Cameras For PressJun 29, 2017
With mainstream media reporters telling their audiences that the end is nigh over the Trump White House decision to hold fewer press briefings on camera, few are mentioning that the move is not without precedent — with President Bill Clinton’s White House turning off the cameras in the ’90s because they weren’t “necessary.” The Trump administration has been reducing the number of press briefings available to cameras in recent weeks, triggering horror from many in anti-Trump press ...

While Trump’s executive action marks a significant shift in decades of U.S. immigration policies, it isn't the first time the U.S. has restricted immigration from specific countries.
