F&F: White House stalled Congress because IG was investigating

Fast & Furious: This was what we heard repeatedly in the administration's response to the Congressional investigation...that the investigation should be - and was being - investigated by the Inspector General, and that Congress should butt out. Let the IG investigate - that's what they said.
Except they had no intention of cooperating with the IG's investigation either. I guess they forgot to mention that.
And so, when the IG starts to get closer to the White House and requests emails...
You know, I lived through Nixon and Watergate - and you can't tell me that I'm not getting a whiff of exactly the same kind of stink.
