[ In Reply To ..]
The Solyndra 'scandal' is a nonstarter, ACA is moving right along, and even Benghazi is an overblown target of those who are desperate to see Obama go up in flames.
He's far from perfect, but I'll take a president WHO TOOK A HARD STAND for insurance for millions over his predecessor - who lost millions of lives and billions of dollars in a fake war that BENEFITTED corps like Halliburton, Cheney's BFF.
Oh, and that war? You are paying for it, and so will your children and their children, too.
Don't tell me what I mean. - sm

You can be an O cheerleader all you want. I mean, WILL THE OBAMA SCANDALS AND THE LIES AND THE DECEPTION EVER END??? I am NOT talking about Bush here.
Well take my subject line literally if you want - it matters not to me
[ In Reply To ..]
In the meantime, the scandals are fiction while the prior administrations are NOT - and that is what I MEAN ;)
You may get your wish with a bona fide Obama scandal - he's far from perfect - but not seeing anything remotely close to Iraq and the dismantling of many of our freedoms under the prior administration
Expand your horizons. - That's what I mean now.

It seems the liberals on this board are the only ones in the country not seeing the truth behind what the President is trying to do this country. I will not be writing further on this. You may have the last word, but please do yourself a favor and expand your knowledge base.
Too funny - I see it just the opposite
[ In Reply To ..]
I see it as the other side desperately manufacturing or conflating facts to give support that the president is wickedly corrupt, never ever being willing to show they have even a scintilla of fairness in their arsenal, and collect only information that supports a foregone conclusion.
As for me, you need not worry. I am quite confident I can hold my own against this 'force' when it comes to being educated on various issues.
I have challenged a NUMBER of posts here that make wild claims in such a way that the poster could EASILY and successfully respond to the challenge, but there is mostly silence and for one GOOD reason: The position(s) cannot be defended.
You can bet if I have a claim to make about *any* politician I can support my position if asked.
Of course you do, you stated it, over and over - noway

EVERYone has to defend their 'point' - or position

IF they want to be taken seriously, have credibility.
Or do you have full faith and respect for members of the FLAT EARTH society?
You may respect their right to an opinion, but do you share their belief? If not, could it be because they cannot defend their position?
Think about it.
Actually, you are right. I didn't state my post - noway
[ In Reply To ..]
correctly. By the way, I thought you did state your position and without ATTACKING! Good for you and I mean that. I love the fact that we live in this country and we have the right to an opinion and to state it publicly, even if all don't agree. I think it would be a pretty boring world if we all agreed. I just wanted to see a conversation that was without the name calling and hateful slant to it and you know yourself, you can tell the mood of the post, at least most of the time. I look forward to posts that have something to say, not, "I don't like you", which I have seen or, "You are tooooo logical". I mean, really?!!

Nobody is wishing for anything, except for the scandals to end and for people to be held responsible. The scandals are many (more than you wish there were). These are in fact bonafide scandals as are the impeachable offenses.
Iraq is old news. Most people have forgotten it by now because the problems we are facing are 100-fold worse than Iraq. Benghazi, NSA, drones, healthcare failure, etc are new and will be fresh in the minds of the voters this fall.

scandals are "100-fold worse than Iraq"
That is a position held by someone either grossly uninformed or very disingenuous.
In the worst case scenario how could you with a straight face compare the deaths that resulted from Benghazi to the 10s of thousands of US military deaths and even MORE mutilations and diseases that resulted from the LIEs of Iraq?
And frankly its galling to suggest Iraq is old news. Is that because you wish people would just forget about this COLLOSAL failure and focus on Obama? We are living Everyday with the fallout from Iraq and it is every patriot's duty to NOT forget that!
Both parties deserve blame for Iraq but it was the GOP who led the charge. Never forget that either.
These are not "imaginary" scandals that - you wish they were
[ In Reply To ..]
And yes they are 100-fold worse than the war that is long gone.
Investigators, lawers, judges, etc are in the process of moving forward to hold the people responsible.
I would say you must be delirious if you think these are imaginary. Wanting them to be doesn't make them so.
And yes...Iraq is old news. Sorry to disappoint. Bengazi and the murder of Americans is not.
BTW, The Iraq war was approved by congress. It is done and over with. The wars going on now and the murder of Americans happening now have not.
My sources will be revealing their findings soon. A judge has already gone the next step in holding them responsible.
Some people have no shame... - twisted sense of justice

I'll be waiting on the edge of my seat to see how all your horrific scandals play out.
In the meantime THIS PATRIOT knows what Iraq is and that is only OLD NEWS for those who are so anxious for memories to fade.
WE WILL NOT FORGET.
Which one of these scandals sent Americans to war for NO REASON? - please
[ In Reply To ..]
tell me.
The war was approved by Congress based on lies. That is OLD news. Halliburton wanted money. GWB wanted fame. FAIL. Americans suffered. Georgie played with American lives.
BTW, he all but DESTROYED the economy.
Benghazi has been investigated and blame has been placed on the appropriate people/agencies, including Chris Stevens who did not leave when he was advised to do so. SOS owned their fault in this. The Reps in Congress still haven't recognized that they WOULD NOT RELEASE funds already allocated to defending overseas embassies. This is ALL fact and easily searchable. To ignore facts does NOT change them.
your sources? LOL This PSEUDOSCANDAL just like the others by the Obama haters will die and prove to further discredit your 'SOURCES."
Right on, with this exception - important

the war was never DECLARED however Congress passed the budgets that paid for it and in that regard we cannot give the DEms a pass. GW and his cabinet ORCHESTRATED the lies, Congress enabled it.

'truth' - what keeps me from searching through tons of garbage and half truths is that I have years and years of experience tracking down wild claims from the right. I value my time more and DON'T appreciate having my intelligence insulted by transparent propaganda.
One can believe whatever nonsense one wants. But for every horrible scandal the right serves up on this page, there are responses which call into question the validity of the information and/or source, which the right rarely responds to in a respectable manner.
Meaning they don't answer at all, change the subject, or deflect. That's fine, but you can hardly convince anyone on the other side of your position by merely posting opinion and/or a link to a biased source.
I've had my mind changed to some degree by the right when the argument is sound and focused. (or anyone really, the key is I don't just believe someone because they are passionate about what THEY believe.

That the family members of loved ones from Benghazi are fresh in the minds of voters.
No, people don't forget loved ones lost in ANY war, but like you said, they are twisting it around.
They are trying to take away from the seriousness of the crimes that are being committed in the here and now, and trying to focus back on Iraq. Well when people go to vote this fall they won't be thinking about Iraq in their decisions. They will be thinking about Benghazi, NSA, IRS, the scandals and the impeachable offenses.
For anyone to think there have been no scandals is just delusional. Colossal failure is even an understatement, but yes, you are 100% correct.
Once again you are invited to educate - us about the "crimes that

Perhaps any day now all the media *will* be covering a true scandal crime of Obama's administration, but so far I have not seen much more than rumor-mongering and hyperbole.

And you're right, the truth will be evident this November. Those who seek the real truth are very outnumbered on this board, but not in the populace of the country. For that, we can be grateful.
There is not ONE PSEUDOSCANDAL that trumps GWB's illegal war, ignoring 9/11 intelligence, etc - etc.

100 fold? What a profoundly incorrect characterization of the blood GWB has on his hands.
Please google Bush Illegal War. I can see not defending him, but to compare ANYTHING that the right wing entertainment machine conjures up that remotely is 100-FOLD WORSE than 10s of thousands dead, maiming, families destroyed is just WRONG.
THE BUSH war was decided to happen on the FIRST meeting he had with his cabinet.

[ In Reply To ..]
Look at all the deflections under the original post, most of which have to do with Bush, who has not been president for 6 years, but they also get Romney in there. TOO FUNNY!!! They cannot defend the indefensible so they have to find fault with someone who has long been out of office.
so in *your* world once a president leaves - office, he is not fair game

Forget that! Bush will be rightly blamed for his mistakes for generations.
